When daddy's mad...

I accidentally deleted an entire group on my aim account. It's not that bad because the group i deleted is the one i least cared about. I think i called it, "weird people." Interesting, eh?

Today, my dad was upset with me. He was upset because he "bought" a virus and expected me to fix it. When i couldn't, he became angry. Then he showed me a receipt of something he bought and expected me to figure out what it was. It was hard to figure out because every question i asked him was answered with "i don't know." Now i know how everyone feels when i say, "i don't know." Yep, not a pleasant feeling. So i told my older sister to remedy the problem. Since i abandoned the situation, my dad started to be mean to me. I'm not sure how to accurately translate what he said, but it was not very nice.

Later, i caught up with a friend and had a healthy dose of girl-talk...sort of. What's interesting is that we aren't really close friends, but can talk about almost anything and everything to each other. We exchanged various life stories and ended up on a very...interesting topic.

Family is getting bothersome and i am becoming more irritable by the day. Not the greatest comboination.

Cute picture of the day.

Accidents, Tulip Eyes, and Series Finales

I am tired of being irritating/being bitchy and hating life. Where is this emo-ness coming from? The bf asked me if it was pms and i think it might. Hormonal changes kill me! Anyways, today was another super duper busy day. My older sister and I went to eyemasters to get her some new glasses. I think we picked out 10 different pairs and narrowed it down to 4. We ended up choosing a really cute black frame with an internal leopardy print. It fits well with kim's feisty side. The only bad thing about going there was waiting for an a associate. I think the wait was over 45 min. Maybe they were understaffed? After that, we roamed the mall and bought some lip stuff from bath and body works. I love the mint stuff! It tingles! I was trying out this jar of lotion and ended up tipping the whole jar in my hand while applying the lotion. The lotion spilled out everywhere and made a mess! How embarrassing! I didn't know what to do and started scoop it back into the jar when my sis said stop and pushed my hand away. I had to humiliate myself by asking a SA to clean up my mess. Good thing she was nice about it. After that i felt obligated to buy something, although i was planning to already! We bought three colors of the mint gloss. It smells good, so yummy! I also tried out the lip plumper. It definitely tingled for a long time. It felt...prickly? I don't think it plumped very much either.

When i we were done with the mall, i quickly dropped sis off at work and went to go pick up little bro. When i picked him up, i asked him if he was hungry. I always ask him and he always say, "i don't know" or "i don't care." For the first time he gave me a definite answer! TACO BELL! HALLELUJIA! The service there was semi-bad. They forgot my order! When i went up there with a dumpy frown, the guy was so aplogetic and nice that i had to smile and say, "it's ok." Then i took the kid to kumon. While he studied, i went to walgreens to pick up a few items. When he was done with junk i rushed home. There was yummy food and things were looking up. That's when i decided to do the makeup vid for my friend. I have a name for my silvery-pink look! I call it Tulip Eyes!
I had to wash my face and start over fresh. I think it's very pretty. While i was doing my face, i kind of wished i had a chance/reason to get pretty and dolled up too. I pitched the idea (two-three months ago) of a second-chance prom to the SU committee, but i don't know if they're buying it. My prom wasn't a good memory. I didn't like my hs and i didn't like the ppl in my hs. I was also forced to go. Anyways, that's old news. I used for eyeshadow colors - silver, light pink, dark pink, white/pinky - on my lids. I used a natural looking pink for my cheeks to add a glow and a pink-cotton candy color for my lips. Overall, i feel like a flower! Hoa dep lam! (chuckle) My little sister is editing the vid right now. Thanks little one! Little sis also made food at home. She made this fish and my mom made canh. While iw as eating, i ran to find her so i could sing her praises. Then i said, "i'm glad we're going to be rooming in the near future because then you can feed me!" I love her so much! And not just because she cooks well.

Tonight is the night of season finales! I watched ugly betty and so you think you can dance at the same time. I don't know what's happening on ugly betty, but i wish for the best. It seems like a good show. So you think you can dance was really good. There was this amazing popper that reminded me of Cedric from last year. He was a contortionist, twisting his body in ungodly ways. It was amazing! When that ended, i watched the 2 hour season finale of grey's. I haven't seen that show in ages! The ending was good. All ended well for almost everyone. I forgot his name, but the guy lost his "significant other" to a psych ward and Iz got the clinic. The on and off couple are on again, but derek had to break it off with rose? Whatever. It was weird. Oh, and two people turned lesbian? Yea, i don't know. Grey's is getting weird. On the radio i heard that Kobe Bryant is involved in another sec scandal. Why do guys do that when they already have a hot significant other at home? He's so stupid. Apparently he was sexing with a Laker's cheerleader. Her name is also Vanessa (exactly like his wife's name), but she's only 18. Ahh, fresh meat. The rules say you can't be sexing cheerleaders, even though Kobe vehemently denied allegations. Conveniently, the laker's girl decided to quit her cheering career for a job as a host right when news broke? How coincidental. When do guys learn? Once an cheater always a cheater? I hope his poor wife leaves his sorry behind. What's that song, "fool me once shame on me!"...uh, yea, i don't know it, but it seems fitting!

Birds are smart. Some are smarter than you. So when this little birdy got lost, he did what he was taught: recite his name and address to a stranger willing to help. Police found the lost bird and kept him until he was transferred to a nearby vet. The birdy didn't say anything at the popo's, but started chatting away when he arrived at the vet. "I'm Mr. Yosuke Nakamura," the bird told the veterinarian, according to Uemura. The parrot also provided his full home address, down to the street number, and even entertained the hospital staff by singing songs. When the vet checked the address recited, they family was reunited with their lost pet. Apparently, the family has been teaching the parrot for 2 years. I kind of want a bird not. Not really, i've had many birds in my lifetime. For a part of my life, my parents were cockatiel breeders. Birds smell and make a mess. They are kind of like babies, dependent on adults for survival! Except they don't grow up into adults. If you want that kind of trouble, go for it!

Final papers

I have two papers to complete before i'm home free. The first is an 8-10 pg paper about rhetoric. Oh, how i love thee. The next is a 4 pg paper about weddell seals. Guess which one i'm more afraid of. The 4 pg paper! I have to work on being succinct and nix the verbosity. Oh, gee. Sadly, i haven't started anything. I have a basic outline of what i'm going to write, but that's about it. I woke up this morning and ate a lot of food for brunch. I think i'm growing a belly. My posts are going to be shorter this week because i want to concentrate on getting my work done. I still want to keep it going, so by no means am i'm going to stop blogging altogether. After i write up this post, i'm going to get down to business. I have a ton of snacks on my table. That is a major distraction. I bought them yesterday for the movie. I have a pack of Jolly Rancher Gummies and Choco raisins. So delish. At the movies, i really like watching previews. There was this really stupid movie that i really want to watch. I forgot the name, but it's something like "house bunny" and it features hef and the girls. I watch Girls Next Door, so i'm kind of a mini-fan. It just looked stupid funny. Everyone loves stupid funny.

I don't know why my face is being a nut case, but i'm breaking out. I have this huge pimple that won't go away. I want to pop it, but it's not ripe yet. Usually, i apply lotion and then spot treat my pimples before bed. Maybe i should change it up to see if it'll help any.

Cute picture of the day.

This is Cess, an echidna (a monotreme: part mammal, part marsupial, part reptilian) from Australia. It is blowing bubbles out of it's beak. Cess was found on the side of the road and taken care of at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. It had broken feet (in yellow casts) and a damaged beak (which is probably the reason for the bubble-blowing).

Beware: FDH Alert.

When i woke up, my hair was a mess. That's what i get for sleeping with my hair wet. Today was a long today. I don't know how i made through it. I ended up hungry most of the day so i lugged around a bag of potato chips. I am nice so i offer it to the class. It doesn't mean you can come up to me and keep asking me for food. That's annoying. Especially when you are gross. Sigh. People are just so...weird. I'm going through this phase where i want to clean out facebook and myspace. I want to delete all accounts that i don't really know or keep in touch. Does that sound bad? It's also even more annoying when they start adding you after they noticed you deleted them. There's a reason why you were deleted. People...ugh. Oh...and another complaint. I'm sorry that i'm going off on you today, but i think people are just so unbelievable (can be both good and bad). I have nothing against black people, but this particular bigot gets me annoyed beyond measure. He thinks he's the shit, know-it-all, he's mega rude and a real bitch. I also think he's gay and a racist. What's funny is that he doesn't know everything and so when he talked, it's like jibberish. I've taken up the tactic of ignoring his existence when he is in my presence. I don't feel like i should waste my time on this person we shall call Fugly Dick-Head (FDH). Don't think that me calling him FDH is unjustifiable. I have very valid reasons that i will not indulge now because talking about it will get me riled up. Let's just say he has WAY more enemies than friends on campus. I know this for a fact.

Now, let me tell you why i brought FDH. My older sister is in charge of the fashion show my school is having. This wouldn't be a problem if people cooperate and make this easier on everyone. Since my sister does everything last minute, we were scrambling to get things done. That's a real problem when you are running low on time. Rehearsal was today and it started right after i came out of class. that means i wouldn't have time to eat dinner because my class ends at 4.45 - so, i was already rally cranky. Anyways, we got there and changed to do a total run through. Each group is in charge of their own section and A.S.I.A was first. My sister was dictating everything because she was in charge. I'm glad someone took charge, otherwise we would've had to stay behind a lot longer. While we were practicing the entertainment aspect, FDH had the nerve to talk crap about my sister. YOU IDIOT! ONLY famiLE can talk crap about family. I was about to tear his head off. I know my sister can be overbearing, but FDH didn't help at all. Why whine and complain when you're of no help. People like this make me sick. If he could do a better job, then go right ahead. Too bad he'll never get the chance. He's irresponsible and way too stupid. That one reckless move he did all first year started the landslide of crap he's done. I don't pity the fool. The fool should pity himself.

The bf is coming up this friday. I'm really excited because it's out one year!! I don't know if we are doing anything in particular, but i want to look nice. I guess i'm more "clothes aware" because he said you can dress up. I love dressing up, but i'm probably just going to wear a pair of jeans and a top...a nice top? I really want to go shopping, but i don't think i have time. Which is a shame. I'll be busy all day tomorrow. I have a fashion show and a major paper that i have to write. Me, being really stupid again, decided to wait last minute. Let's see if i will triumph! I walked back from my meeting just awhile and tripped over a branch. Gosh darn. It scratch up my foot. Sigh, when will i learn to pick up my feet. People say they always know i'm coming because of how loud i walk. You can hear me slid my feet. That's why all my soles are worn out pretty bad. That's more reason for me to buy shoes! See my misguided logic? *smug smile*

Tonight, my friend and i played with makeup. Well, more like i played with makeup on her. I did too looks. I really like bright colors. I think she has a very unusual eye shape. It's pretty, but i don't think it can handle lots of color. This requires some looking up. Monolids, i think, are a lot harder to put makeup. I think it's because i've been spoiled with double lids. What's funny with her eyes? - They aren't totally mono! Sometimes they are double and other times they are monolid. Isn't that funny. OK, after looking at a couple of makeup websites, i think i have a better idea how to go about with monolid eyes. I think the most dramatic results would have to include the usage of fake eyelashes. Alas, i do not have any on me and don't have time to run to the store. Pooey.

In new Guinness news (do you see a trend happening?), a kid in the united states set the record for blowing the most balloons through his nostrils. Andrew Dahl inflated 213 balloons one nostril at a time within an hour on Friday. Each balloon was measured by his father to ensure that they were at least 20 cm, the min diameter. His mother tallied up the balloons as they were inflated. Andrew's first attempt - 184 balloons in February - was rejected because his father tied the balloons. This time he tied them off himself. [source] Oh the crazy things peoples do for fame. I can that is a way to ensure that your name will live on...in the books. Well, that is until someone trumps his record. I'm pretty sure tha twill happen. There are many crazy people in the States, surely another will attempt nostril balloon blowing. Maybe this time, they might do it through...two nostrils! Now...that is impressive AND ambitious.

I need to relax.

I haven't felt this tired, grimy and yucky in so long. I don't really like this feeling. To avoid feeling like this, i need to make sure to do my homework on time (especially if i'm writing papers!) and get an adequate amount of sleep. Yesterday, my roomie and i were cramming. I think i finished earlier than her because when i went to her room to see her status, she was sleeping. She kind of knocked out cold. Poor roomie. I turned off her lights and wished her goodnight. I think we both need sleep. I was able to finish my papers last night. I just don't know how well i finished them. It doesn't matter now, i turned them in. I also did my presentation. I kind of got tongue tied at the beginning, but i managed to spit something out. I was kind of amazed that i was coherent. In front of the class, i kept yawning, so that was probably a bad sign...but whatever. I felt like a big pile of poop in my first class. It was funny because i had to present. Anyways, after the presentation, we talked about language and its connotations. We talked about jeans and the "cool brand" that was "in" during my hs/middle school time. It was hard to contribute because i was in a private school and had no recollection of what was "in" at that time. I kind of just sat back and waited for people to respond.

After the class, I had a meeting with my professor. I consider myself a punctual person and i expect the same from others. This is hard when they aren't. My scheduled appointment was at 10 and when i came to the door 5 min prior, a girl was sitting in the chair and my prof said, "give us a min, we jus tstarted." What the heck?! Meetings usually last 20 min. I sat outside simmering in my own upset-ness. They ran into my time, which consequently made my meeting run into another girl's time. Sigh. The meeting was about my exhibition piece for my Chinese class. When i came in, he could tell i was tired, upset and didn't want to be there. He cracked a few humorless jokes and then, we got to work. I had to look through a book of characters and choose one to work on. I initially chose a character that looked cool to me. He gave me a weird look and said, "i don't think you want to choose that; it means disaster." Oh great. So i ended up choosing the character, "to be enlightened." Now, i just have to work on my calligraphy.

Yesterday, i went shopping. I know i mentioned that in my last post, but now i want to provide pictorial evidence of my accomplishments.
The sale was beautiful. I think this pair was only $15. I love love the shine. I have a soft spot for shiny things and this definitely shines. It's relaly simple and can be easily paired with a pair of jeans, pants or a dress. The material is really comfortable and it's just the perfect height. It's made by a comapny called Chiense LAundry. It was the first time i heard of that brand, but i love it. When i shop, i'm going to be on the lookout for this brand. The shoe is just so darned comfy. If this pair is a representation of the shoes of this brand, i'm definately a fan. The shoes fit so well and have just enough room for toe air. LOVE it! Toe cleavage is so in.
Meet pair number dos! This retro beauty was only $13. Don't you just love the color. In the light, there are specks of blue and silver. I went through a phase a couple of years back where i was really into pointy flats. Low and behold, i still am in that phase. Not to the same intensity, but i love a good pair of point flats. The key to wearing flats successfully is comfort. If you know your size, bump it up half a size. So if you are a 6, buy a pair in 6.5 for best comfort results. Remember my maroon booties from jessica simpson? These are made by her! I didn't even know it until i looked at the brand just now. I have to thank js again for making these fab shoes. On my list of "must-get" shoes, i still have silver sandals. Ever since i wore out my last pair, i've been on a massive search for a durable, cute pair. I haven't seen a single one that i like. How stinky.

I love this picture for some reason. It might be because he's in my comfy bed and i'm tired or just cause his facial expression is so funny. I don't know why he scowling, my face is too pretty to scowl at! Hehehe. He was trying to sleep yesterday, but that didn't happen. We whipped out his phone and started video recording random things. I did a little song and then we ended up recording weird things. In the car, he captured me running at 80 miles per hour! Believe me, it is possible. At 5:30 today, i have to go to this function my fraternity is hosting. It's connected to relay for life. The dress code/theme is sports. I am probably the most nonathletic person i know. I hate running and balls being thrown at me. I don't even have "sport" clothes. The bf said that i would look good in a jersey. I adamantly protested against him buying me one because it's so...tacky. Now, i kind of wish he bought me one. It doesn't really matter. I'm not fretting because i know that everyone's not going to be all dressed according to theme. I hop ewe are able to play red rover. I really like that game, even though i suck really badly. I never break the wall of people, but it's always fun trying. For some reason, people always run through my arms. I'm not that weak, usually i can fend off people fairly well. Sigh, it shows you not to underestimate the little people! After this little get-together, it's all down hill. Tonight is dedicated to relaxation. I'm not going to use my brain until the weekend. This means, all i do is sit in front of the tv/computer and rot my brain for the majority of the night. Oh, the anticipation!!

[source]

Have you ever anticipated this (see above)? It's a giant elephant in a soap bubble! Tai, the 8,800 pound Asian Elephant was not quite floating, but stood at just less than nine feet tall in the giant soap bubble. Fan Yang set a world record by capturing the 'Largest Land Mammal in a Bubble'. He completed this task in front of an audience, along withe the Guinness World Record committee at Santa Ana's Discovery Science Center.Yang has set 15 previous Guinness World Records including the world's largest bubble wall, 157 feet in length, and the most people encapsulated in a bubble, 100, as well as appearing on the Oprah, and David Letterman shows. Isn't he so cool. That's a crazy little stunt he did with Tai. I kind of feel bad the elephant trapped in the bubble. I don't understand how Tai doesn't seem to mind, not does he try to pop out of the bubble. When i was little, i always wanted an elephant. Then, i realized it was so impractical. I didn't want to bathe the animal or tend to it, i just wanted to ride it. I was able to ride an elephant in thailand, so there was no need for me to have en elephant any more.

Cute picture of the day.

Mmmm, a bucket of hunny!

LOVE is here!

People seriously need to shower. I'm a loser and don't show everyday, but i almost do! Most of the time i shower every other day so that my hair doesn't totally dry up on me. It's very common, so don't think i smell bad. I also use deodorant! If the deodorant doesn't cover up the stink (that i don't have) i put on lotion. Some people don't do that. How do i know? Well, i walked past someone today that smelled horrible. This is a major case of B-O. It's a nasty boy smell, a combination of sweat and smelly feet. His hair was nasty looking, too. Shampoo! Sometimes taking a shower is all you need to give you that extra boost of confidence/energy. My little brother hates showers. He sits in the tub, splashes a couple of cup fulls of water and hops right out. That's why he is stinky. Sometimes i tell him he stinks and he just doesn't believe me. The boy is in 4th grade and doesn't take a normal shower like the rest of us. He's so weird. I have a weirdo family. Have you ever had that feeling that you really needed to pee, but didn't want to? That was me today. For some stupid reason i thought it was too much of a hassle to use the toilet, so i just held it in until my bladder started to hurt. I was in a meeting and relaized i needed to pee, but didn't want ot get up so i just crossed my legs. When i came home, i fled to the toilet. Sweet release never felt so good. But sicne i held it in for so long, i'm thinking 5 hours-ish, my bladder still hurts even after i used the toilet. Sigh.

My school's A.S.I.A. club is having a fashion show. I'm modeling. They are using swimsuit models to encourage people to attend. Some people tried to get me to do the swim wear thing. HA-HA, heck no. First of all, i have thunder thighs! No one wants to see that. I'm also pale. I don't know anyone who wants to see white, jiggly stuff walk around in heels. Well, i know one person...but that doesn't count! I don't have the confidence to prance around scantily clad. It makes me feel ho-ish. What i'm really excited about is the makeup! It gives me reason to draw on peoples faces and such. Muhahaha. My makeup hasn't come in yet, but when i get it...i'll be totally playing around with it before hand. Wait for my picture fest. Maybe i can hustle money from the bf and ask him to buy me some pretty makeup things. LOL!!! I joke, I joke. I make my own money! The little sis showed me a little teaser of our current book craze, Twilight! I'm super excited. It's coming out DECEMBER! I can't wait. I have this huge zit on my face. It hurts and looks really nasty. I've been trying not to mess with it, but it taunts me! Darn pimple! Wait till you are ripe, i will pop you!

One of my friends snapped at me today. She's my closest friend here and i know her situation, so i didn't think anything of it. We've got three weeks left and everyone is on edge, trying to get things done. She's been very stressed lately, so she's kind of moody towards everyone. I know that i'm being buried under paperwork. I just handle it a little better than other people. For instance, i have 2-3 papers due each week until school lets out. They all range from 6-8 page papers. Who is screwed? I am! But, no fear...i'm not stressing, yet. I think i will, essentially be ok. It will all work out, somehow. I don't know how, but it will. I have faith. I thought last semester was taxing, but i accomplished everything and got honors to top it all off. I'm sure i can pull something out of my butt this semester. I'm getting wiped though. I skipped one of my classes today because i was just mentally and physically drained. I used the time i had to write papers and blog. I even skipped lunch to try to catch up with work. I don't htink you can ever be "caught up." It's a vicious cycle. That's all i know. I'm looking for another internship for next fall. I'm thinking along the lines of KXAN/Associated Press. We shall see.

On another note, do you remember the Notebook? It's one of my favorite romantic movies ever. I also love Nicholas Sparks. For my birthday, my then closest friend bought me the book and the movie. It was so sweet. During spring break, i was able to read the "sequel," called The Wedding. It's well written and has a wonderful ending. It will make you believe in love...if you don't already believe or have forgotten! The book was so vivid that i had created a beautiful image in my mind regarding the characters, surroundings, etc. It seems like...a distant memory, a movie, or deja vu. Anyways, do you remember the part where Noah's wife loses her memory and ultimately, her life to Alzheimer's? Well, The Wedding is a story about how he copes with losing Allie, but the main story is centered around the grandchildren. Part of the reason why Noah is able to live so logn after Allie's death is because he believes the swan that he constantly feeds day after day is Allie. She had said (both in the movie and prequel), that she would find a way to come back to him. Noah adamently believed that the swan was Allie. He was happy and healthy, mobile and agile around the swan. After Allie's death, the swan gave him purpose to live. Hid grandkid's resented the swan, thinking that Noah was suffering from disillusions. But i think it is possible. I think it is possible to find traits of the person you love in other things, animals, and people. As long as their mind is stable, i don't think there's anything wrong in letting him/people believe that the person they dearly love is still with them. Why would you want to live if you have no purpose for living? In China, a woman went through a similar situation. She (75 yo) wrote more than 500 letters to her husband since his death, 14 years ago. She writes about everything, including her life happenings, memories, current events, and the future. Her reasoning? She says that writing letters comforter her since her husband's death and when she is too old to write, she can find comfort in reading them. Rather than bore people about her feelings, she writes about them to her husband. [source] Isn't that so darned sweet? True love is not only found in books and movies ladies! Don't forget that. Every girl deserves their own fairytale. We deserve one, but i don't know if we will get it. At least know that everyone is entitled to love. Be hopeful and never settle. Once you find love, it's one of the best experiences you'll ever have in your life.

Fakes

I got into most of the classes i wanted. Registration always puts me in the most foul mood, especially when it came down to housing. I'm in McCombs 128. I was walking to class afterwards. For some reason i decided to listen to my ipod. That's something i rarely do because i don't want to be shut down from the world. Your sense of hearing is taken away, so you are one sense down. If you are like me, i concentrate on walking so my head is down. When i walk, i don't notice anything at all. That's a pretty bad habit, but i'd rather avoid falling. Anyways, this viet song came on and it started out really funky. It started with a - honk honk - and a car zooming past. It sounded so near and so real that i turned around looking for a car. Then, i realized it was coming form the ipod. Oh, what a trickster.

I think the time of the month is approaching. I've become a lot more moody lately. Lately, i can't seem to tolerate people anymore. I used to be really good at that, but annoying people just find more ways to annoy me. At the meeting, there is this particular girl that i just can't stand. She thinks she's the shiznit and a box of crackers. What the hell, right? Ok, so let me lay it out for you before you think i'm a crazy, judgmental, freak. We voted thi girl into the "friendship office." Friendhisp entails a person to be nice and overal friendly. It's in the title! That's a given. First impressions should not apply because she looks nice, but once she starts to talk...it's over. She is mean and miss know-it-all. The worst part is...she don't know shizzles. If she knew what she was talkign about, i wouldn't be so AHH about it, but she doesn't. That's just wrong. When i (or my friends) offer suggestions, she just glazes over us-ignores us and goes on with whatever she's talking about. HELLO! There is no I in TEAM! Is that how the phrase goes? So tonight, i had to go door to door asking for donations for relay for life with a group of people. That annoying twit was there, too. When i saw her ask for donations, it seemed like her personality did a whole 360. She was miss bubbly-i-love-life, sorta girl. What a faker! What's more funny is that she took off her ugly sweater to go around door to door and underneath was a "cute" top to help her achieve the "i'm cute and friendly" look. Idiot. We went down this hall asking for donations and she skipped right to the door if this "cute guy" to ask. There's not chance with that guy or any guy, so es should just give it up. I just don't understand how people can be like that. Yuck to two-faced people.

Sunday's PostSecret

Daddy thinks the clubman is ugly. The bf thinks the clubman is ugly, too. Geez. I can never catch a break. Maybe i should just convince them to get me the regular mini cooper. I don't know anymore. I'm looking at the stuff that i have to do today and i'm hoping i can finish at least half of it. Tomorrow i have housing sign-ups (8.30) and class sign-ups (10). I just finished a paper, so now i'm chilling a bit and visiting some of favorite websites. In particular, i read postsecret every sunday (or at least try to). Today, there was one postcard that i just went "aww" to. That lady is 50 years old and has never been kissed. At first, i automatically thought about the film "never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore. Then, i felt really bad for her and wish her the best with her marriage. I showed this to the bf and he said, "it's not that sad...if it's true then i guess it's sad." Postsecret is real. It's an outlet for some people. You basically send your secrets to Frank and he posts it on the site. I wanted to do it, but i don't really have a secret or anything to write about. The bf asked why i would do such a thing. I thought about it and here is what i came up with. It's more of a reassurance. You aren't the only one out there in the world with a secret or an insecurity. More importantly, you aren't alone. Solidarity is very important to survival.

If you are a crazy shoe lover like me, here's a neat little site to look at. Atypical shoes is a site based on, weird looking, neat, crazy, shoes. The only guideline at the site is that the shoes are quirky. I really like at all the different types that people have come up with, past and present. Sometimes i'm confused and think, "how the heck did someone in their right mind come up with this?" You will understand if you take a peek at the site. Yesterday my mom commented on how tight my stomach looks. At least she can see my efforts. I've been lazy, but i've kept up with my regimen. I think the best way to see results is to be consistent. On top of exercising in the morning, i think i might add in-room exercises. I'm going to borrow a couple of dvds from my friend and see how it works. Maybe i can open up a youtube on exercising! Haha. I don't think that will ever happen.

I'm eating grapes right now because i only had a bagel for dinner. No exercising for today! I was watching a segment of Hoan Chau Cat Cat. I was up to this part where this high society girl was letting fate find her a match for marriage. Her dad threw a ball over the balcony and whoever catches it would marry the daughter. I don't think i would ever have the guts to do that. It sort of reminds me of the whole arranged marriage thing. Except in this case, it's really up to god to decide who marry. In the series, the ball lands on this poor kid asking for alms. At least with your parents deciding, they do a thorough background check. You can confidently marry the person knowing that they don't have a record. It would be way crazy if something like a marriage ball toss happen here.

On to news, a woman protected her pet Labrador by biting a put bull terrier on the nose. She first tried to pull the pit bull's jaws away from her lab's throat. Since that didn't work, she ended up biting it on the nose. This is what she had to say: "I broke the skin and had pit bull blood in my mouth. I knew what happened, and I knew that it wasn't good." The injury was concluded as minor, but now she's faced with possible rabies. [source] Some people would do anything for their dogs. I'm very impressed when these type of stories come out. I hope all things turn out ok. While my mom was here, she had good things to say about my dog at home (Chico). She said that he was very disciplined. He knows where to poo and when it's dinner time, he would push his tray to the door, waiting patiently for us to come out. He's just very excited when people are around, so he kind of mulls them. I told my mom that he's a good dog because daddy is mean to him. Since he's scared of my dad, he'll try his best to not do wrong.

Today is a Good Day

After working out, i really wanted to fall back to sleep. I don't think that's how it's supposed to work. I have a feeling i'm missing something, but can't quite put my finger on what. I did the elliptical for 15 min before we left. Usually i feel pain/good after working out, but that isn't the case. I feel normal, like i usually do. Does this mean i'm not working out enough? I want to work out in my room. It's such a bother having to going somewhere. My friend has this thing called Yoga Booty Ballet (YBB) . Insane, ya? I want to try it out. It seems really fun. At the gym, we saw a beginner ballet class. It looks wretched. I'm just being mean, it didn't look so bad. I just don't like ballet. Well, i like watching it, btu i don't think i would ever pick it up. I'm so old! Ballet might help my flexibility though, which i definitely need. A group of us were talking about dancing yesterday and Shakira came up. Now, she is a crazy dancer. I don't know how you move your hips like that. I'm amazed that it's even possible. Anyways, we did that for awhile and then talked about people who could dance, black people. Not to be racist/stereotypical, but a lot of black people know how to groove (more so then asians...disregarding jabbawockeez and kaba modern). Anyways, that's who you see in clubs doing their thing. They do that touch the floor and butt up slowly. Yea, i tried that in front of my friends and it was a major failure. I'm not flexible anymore, so i couldn't touch the floor with my legs straight. And then i couldn't back my thing up. It doesn't really matter. I'm quite a sight attempting it though. Sigh.

How stupid is that. I hate it when american's attempt to remake originals. The original was charming, fun, cute, and everythign this one isn't. I can already tell it's got major cheese factor. If you haven't seen the original, don't waste your time on the american version of My Sassy Girl and go get the real thing. I bet you that its going to be 100000000000 + 1 times better. Look at the trailer of the original My Sassy Girl.

That is what it's trying to replicate. I was watching it and i started laughing. I've seen this movie ten thousand times. It's just that good. I think the american version chose wrong actors. The original has a wonderful cast. I love love the male lead. His face is just too funny. Sometimes if i'm in one of my bad moods, i think of his weird face and start chuckling. It's one of those movies that i can watch over and over. I highly recommend this to you if you haven't already seen it. Oh!! I also hate that americans never credit the originals. What is that? They aren't creative enough to think up their own thing so they go over seas to find something to remake. What an embarrassment. That goes towards all asian remakes. So tacky. I hate it when americans put their "touch" on things. For instance, the lake house. They didn't even credit the original! What the heck. It kind of upsets me because the original is fab. It's one of my favorite movies and they went and screwed it up. I don't like kieno (sp?) reeves. He's an awful actor. The only good thing about him is that he's a tiny percent asian. Sigh, can't hate there.

I'm so excited! Well, today has mostly been chill and i'm grateful for that. After my workout, i showered and napped for an hour. I woke up to get ready for lunch. While i was waiting, i decided to finish off my series. I cannot tell you how much i love this series. I still laugh at all the funny parts and gasp at all the crazy parts. I went to work wanting to watch the sequel, but i couldn't find a working link. Gosh darn. Anyways, i'm at work and at work i check my email like a girl on crack. I found out my test is cancelled and that all my friday classes are canceled, too! Yay for brown symposium (BS)! In honor of BS, my friends and i are making 6 turtle breads and lots of cow patties. It should be fun, but very time consuming. The turtle breads are really cute. I'm not sure if we can totally replicate, but it's worth a try. The best part is that i'm getting paid for the time spend baking! Yay! This week is panning out pretty well. I'm most looking forward to Thursday! That's when the bf visits! I love bf visits!! I'm already excited just talking about it. You can tell from the abuse of (!!!!!!).

At the meeting today, we had to play a group game. It is similar to simon says. At one point, we had to get into a group of 5 people and point to the air. I clustered to the closest 4 people i could find and thought that if i stood in the middle, i would be the permanent 5th person of the group. WRONG! My friend playfully pushed me right in the boob and said, "get away!" I had to scurry and find another group. Unfortunately, i was not successful and was eliminated. What's funny is that her attitude towards the game was so unexpected. Who knew she was so competitive. It doesn't matter because she lost anyways. Ha-ha! Afterwards, we had the meeting. My friends and i got off topic. We ended up talking about our guy friend who is a definite boob-man. We say that because his past girlfriends all have the same physical features. They are healthy, plump, and well endowed in that department. It's interesting to think what kind of man most guys are. I just asked the bf what kind he is (i already knew this, but just wanted to reaffirm) and he said, a butt-man. Now, at least i can say i have a butt! It's small and bony, but it's a butt! My secret to getting a fab butt is eating ice cream. You should try it out.

Some women go crazy during arguments. Instead of trying to talk like respectable adults, they get violent. That's when it turns ugly. In Florida, a women is charged for assault and child abuse after trying to run her husband over by a minivan. Her child was in the back seat. Amazingly, she was released from jail after posting a $2,750 bond. The couple were arguing over $300 and it got so heated that the husband tried to take the baby from his wife. She had her own plans. The lady grabbed the baby and headed towards the minivan. The husband was smart enough to run because she tried to run him over 20 times. [source] He smartly threw a brick into the window and stopped her killing rampage. What an insane woman! I can't believe things like that happen in real life. It just sounds so surreal. I think she should get some medical help. It's not good for her to deal with anger in that manner. I'm just surprised that everyone got away unscathed. This could have turned out really bad. What's also bad (but not as nearly) is a friend dumping someone you don't nkow on you. My friend had a prospy to take care of, but she decided to go out and hang with her friends. She asked my other friend to take care of the prospy and since she had a lot of work to do, i offered to help. Who the heck does that? I hate it when people don't take responsibility. If you say you do something, do it. If you sign up to take care of a prospy, do the right thing and take care of her. Show her around. You don't ditch the poor thing! Crazy. All of them.

Cute picture of the day.

They are just so darned cute and Texan! I want one!
Puppies need to stay puppies forever

Ngày đầu tiên đi học...

Ngày đầu tiên đi học
Mẹ dắt tay đến trường
Em vừa đi vừa khóc
Mẹ dỗ dành bên em
Ngày đầu tiên đi học
Em mắt ướt nhạt nhòa
Cô vỗ về an ủi
Chao ôi ! sao thiết tha

This is what ran through my head this morning. My dad sang it to my yesterday before i left as a joke. Basically, it's saying on your first day of school, you're crying while holding your mom's hand. Mom tries her best to comfort you, but you're going to have to buck up and be the bigger person. I cried a lot on my first day of school. It's quite embarrassing because it's a joke that is told all the time. It's not really a joke, just a story that never gets old. At least i laugh with them. I'd rather that than be laughed at. I thought they had forgotten about my history, but when my dad started singing that little song, i couldn't help but smile. It brings back memories.

Today was nice. It was hard getting up, but once i was up i was ready for the day. It was a little chilly outside, besides that, the sun was up and the day was nice. I went to my first class and got my test back. Surprisingly, i got an A. Later on during the day, i got my quiz back that i knew nothing about and got another A. The day was definitely looking up. However, when i got my paper back in my next class, it wasn't as pretty. It was a sad B. My streak ended. Oh well, what can i expect from a paper that i spent 1.5 hrs on. All in all, the day was swell. Even when I found that out one of my friend is engaged. She's a year younger than me. I was kind of surprised she agreed because she was all worried about it. Why be so wishy-washy when you know you're just going to say yes. That way, you don't have to fuss and make a mess about it. I really didn't think she would go through with it. Well, all i can say is that i wish her the best.

I hope everyone is following the amazing Dancing With the Stars. How can you not love this show. I now have favorites. From the males, i like Steve Guttenberg, Adam Carolla, and Mario. Steve is charming and he is always smiling. It's like he really enjoys himself. You can see him exude wonderfulness. When i watch him dance, i can't help but smile a long with him. Adam is a talker. Sometimes i want him to shut up, but i like him. He's funny and makes me chuckle. His face is funny and he's paired with one of my favorite dancers. Mario is handsome. He can sing and dance very well. I'm glad he's dancing this season. From the females, i like Marlee Matlin, Priscilla Presley, and Kristi Yamguchi. Marlee is profoundly deaf, but she ceases to amaze me. She dances like she can hear everything. She's also very graceful and beautiful to watch. She's pure elegance. I didn't think Priscilla could dance. She can barely smile with all that botox. But when she got on the dance floor, she was pretty good. I have a soft spot for Elvis. I'm glad Priscilla is out there doing her thing. It just tells you that age is just a number. I love Kristi. She and Marlee are my to two females. The best part about Kristi is that she's asian! Yay! I love that. I remembered watching her on ice (i love figure skating and can watch it for hours!) and now i'm watching her on the dance floor. My, how time flies. I hope my favorites win! I'll be rootin' tootin' for them.

Onto miracles. I wrote about a news story earlier that i thought was miraculous. In Dallas, a mother threw her 2 children over a bridge into morning's traffic on I-30 before making the jump herself. Amazingly, all three survived the 22-foot fall. The mom and kids, ages 8 and 6, were hospitalized in stable conditions even though police reported that the 8 yr. old was struck by cars. The mother could face two charges of attempted capital murder. [read more here] What the heck? Isn't this crazy. I can't believe a mother would do that. How they survived that fall is absolutely amazing. I would think that if the fall didn't kill them, at least the cars would. It's brutal out there are drivers are careless and merciless. I make drivers (including myself) sound like a scary monster. It's just life! It's tough. Maybe there is something mentally wrong with the mother. In that case, she might be able to survive in court.

Rainy Days are Happy Days

Today is an overall happy day except for a few mishaps, but i'm sure i'll get to that later. I woke up to the clapping of rain. Well, actually i woke up to my little sister saying/yelling, "EWW! Little brother peed in his bed...AGAIN!" That's really nasty. Are boys in general impossible to potty train at such a "young" age? He is in 4th grade. Anyways, it's been raining nonstop all day. It's horrible. I thought i'd have to stay in because my dad said, "don't go anywhere; it's dangerous!" I ignored his request/demand and went to the bf's house to hang out. It was fun. We ate korean food for lunch at samwon garden. It was delish. Afterwards, we went to the mall. I finally got my dark-wash, skinny jeans today. They were at Forever 21. It's so pretty. Then, we got ice cream at coldstone for ice cream. I got the yummy coffee light ice cream with crushed heath bars. I love heath bars.

Now, for the unfortunate mishap. I only think these type of things only happen in movies (and weird people), but life threw a curve ball at me. I'm now one of the weird people. Oh well, there's always a first for everything. So, it was raining really really hard and i was was wearing flip flops because my rain boots are at school. There were humongous puddles, so the bf carried me on his back for a piggy-back ride because i trip really easily. Note to self, not a good idea when you're a GOHP (look at previous entry for acronym definition). Needless to say, my pants were kinda ruined and his jacket was kinda stained. I felt kind of embarrassed and irked that i let this happen (good thing the feeling didn't last more than 15 secs). But the bf made me feel better because he wasn't ragging on me about it. He duly noted that i was kind of happy and giddy in the car, despite the condition i'm in. He said this because i was dancing around in the car and cracking jokes with a wide smile on my face. Anyways, i patched things up at his house. While i was washing the stain out, the bf gave my bball shorts to wear. AH-HA! Another one to add to my budding collection.

One of the craziest things in the world is traffic. I don't really understand this. Well, i understand that it happens, but why. The reasons why people slow down are either reasonable or really stupid. Reasonable traffic is like when there is a huge car accident that occupies 3 out of 4 lanes. You just have to suck it up and drive in that one lane. Stupid would be when theres a huge car accident on the other side of the freeway and the only reason there is a hold up is because people are nosy and want to see the action on the other side of the road. I just understand people. When you slow down, people behind you slow down. And then there are the braker-happy people. They brake for every reason, even if the car in front of them (which is 10 million feet away) is braking. What the heck. I understand the whole personal bubble concept, but that's just a little too much. The two things i don't like about Texas is the unpredictable weather and traffic. The times to avoid the road (in general): 9 o'clock morning rushing hour and 5 o'clock evening traffic.

On another note, a girl is sportin' the same sunglasses as me! The bf told me about her and i looked really closely at one of her pics and it seems very identical. I bought (well, the bf bought) those off ebay! Ebay needs to be a little more "one-of-a-kind." The only difference is that her shades are purple and mine are pink. Good thing i'm prettier! Now, isn't that shallow for you (har har). I'm actually just honestly accessing her physical features seen off of pics (since i've never met the girl). i think she's asian, but she has very "black" people features. She has a very distinct, prominent lip and her eyes are kind of droopy. On top of that, her hair has weird funky purple things in it. It looks like someone dropped paint in her hair and she was too lazy to wash it off. I'm beign quite mean. That's why i never say anything when people ask me what i thought of them the first time i met them - the whole, first impressions thing.

Now, the bf was given the task of looking up brilliant news, instead of the cute pic of the day. I really like the site he showed me. It's called fwdemails.com and it's really neat-o. I particularly like this post on cool inventions. It made me chuckle reading about the different inventions. Another really neat website to waste time on is thecutereport.com because it's pure cuteness. I liked looking at the cute animal posts. If you want to smile a little bit more, make sure to check out hellishhumor, especially this post. Isn't is so darned cute?

What is that and why is it, dare you ask, floating?

It's a bed! Can you believe it? I didn't until i read it. It's an air mattress that was invented by dutch deisgner, Janjaap Ruijssenaars. It's hovering 16 inches above the floor. Its secret is a matching set of repelling magnets, built into the bed and the floor below, that's powerful enough to support almost 2,000 lbs. [read more here] This is possibly one of the coolest inventions. The only thing is that it costs 1.5 mil. You have to admit, it's really easy to clean and you can never clutter stuff underneath the bed. This was introduced in '06, it's now '08. I'm telling you, we'll be living in space in no time. I'm already imaging The Jetsons in the near future.

Family Headaches

Asian Families. Permanent furrowed brows. You can't live with them and you can't live without them. They are just so intense. I'm always stressed whenever i'm home. They tell you to do something and then when you're doing it, they decide that you are doing it the wrong way. But, you couldn't be doing it the wrong way because you've been doing it for years. Incompetence. You never do anything right because that means they would be wrong. And the parents can never be wrong, oh no. It's not just that. Once you're living under their house again, you abide by their rules. It sucks. At school, you have your freedom and it's just too hard to revert back to the old ways. That means asking permission to go out, sneaking around, coming home before dark - awful, just awful. This wouldn't be so bad if they didn't depend on me so much. When i'm home, it's like all the responsibility shifts to me. What's the deal? Do they plan it that way? Of course they do! They even told me. One time they waited for me to come home to help the little brother do his project. He had a month to do it and they waited the weekend before it was due to tell me to help the nugget. I ended up doing his project! It was also enforced by my parents. Why? Because "little brother needs his precious sleep; he has school tomorrow." If he did his homework on time, he/we wouldn't have this problem. Sigh. All this wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the time of the month. That and i hit my head on the car door - now i'm battling a major headache.

I was looking through different sites and i came across this one with Sarah Larson. Who is this chick and why is she famous. According to wiki, Sarah Larson is a former part-time model and cocktail waitress in Las Vegas's Palms Casino Resort. She was also a contestant on Fear Factor where she won an episode of season five, partnered with her then-bf. Her biggest claim to fame is that she is currently George Cloone's gf. Clooney and Larson first became public as they attended the '08 Academy Awards. Who is this girl that has captured George's heart?
For a self declared life bachelor, i really thought he would've chosen a breathtakingly beautiful goddess. Can you believe she dethroned his bachelorhood? I think the best thing about her, as far as i can see, is that her thighs don't touch..and i guess her shoulders are nice. That is saying something in itself. I remember seeing her on tv at the oscar's. She was practically shadowing George. She was wearing a not so pretty dress that did nothing for her body or complexion. Who the heck dressed her because that person's taste is definitely questionable. I like her height and her slimness. I thin she's flatter than me. That's quite a feat since i have the smallest boobs in the family. She barely has boobs, more like mosquito bites. I think i remember seeing her on Fear Factor because when it was still airing, i watched it religiously. It was amusing that stupid people would do stupid things (like eat uncooked cow penis) for a chance at 50k. It's not even a guaranteed 50k, it's a chance. You might eat nasty things in vain. That's just stupid. Even more stupid, i thought, were people who were harnessed up but still afraid of plummeting to their death. You are wired! You aren't going anywhere even if you tried.

If you are having a lazy afternoon, i invite you to read PostSecret. It's pretty popular and i wouldn't be surprised if you already know what it is. The amazing thing is, you're really not alone. Sometimes your perception of the world is as far as you can see it. You forget how big the world is and how many people occupy the space. It's a great pick-me-upper.

Cute picture of the day.

Crazy and Clean

Awkwardly intense people are just a bit too much for me to handle. Add in a little "know-it-all" arrogance and it's over for me. People are just crazy. It's weird how some people talk. There are some with a nice, soothing voice. It's a voice that i can listen to all day and more. There are some with a loud, obnoxiousness to it that you just wish they kept their mouth shut all day. It's so weird to talk and shout at the same time. I was talking to a person yesterday that was shouting/talking to me. Can you please use your indoor voice? Have you learned nothing from kindergarten? At least i learned that. Anyways, that's what i notice. People in general are crazy. I also learned a new word: hortatory - urging to some course of action; encouraging. Now, everyone must use it! It's pronounced just as it's spelled. I remembered when i was memorizing this monologue/play i had to learn eleemosynary. I thought (and still think) it's one of the coolest words out there. That play was weird and i can't believe i even attempted to memorize it. It's a one-act play that follows the relationship between three generations of women.

Don't you hate it when you walk out of taking a test realize that you royally screwed yourself? I sort of feel like that. I don't know what i was thinking. Well, i think i might be a tad over dramatic, but i kind of wish i sat there and thought a little bit more. I knew Burke's reading on Terministic Screes, yet i didn't write about the topic. Why do i always blank at the last minutes. BIG SIGH! I was walking on the sidewalk and there was this lady with 3 wiener dogs. The first two were kinda ugly: long and uber skinny. The third one, however, was too cute for words!! It was white and light brown. The little thing was pudgey and just a baby! I'm not a big fan of those type of dogs, but that one was really, truly cute. I don't know what's up with the animal pics today. Seeing those little dogs reminded me of Ollie. I miss that little sucker ball.

I went to Hayashi today for lunch. I was craving soup, so i got Tempura Udon. It's so yummy. I love udon. I think i can just eat the noodles by itself. Afterwards, i went shopping around wolfe ranch. Since it's smaller than usual shopping centers, it was easy to go through. I went to Old Navy and bought me a pair of shorts! Now, i usually buy things even if they aren't my size and try to make it pass for my size. Obviously, something is wrong if your shorts are a tug away from dropping. For some reason when i shop, i only find sizes 3 and up. I'm not a 3, but i buy 3's anyways. Thats not a good idea. Anyways, i found a nice pair of shorts that are just cutesy. [sneak a peek]
They are cuter in person. The best part about the shorts? They fit me nicely. I also like the dark wash color. I'm ready for summer/spring! Today, it's a sweltering 94 degrees. What the heck?! What happened to spring? I hate it when Texas decides to skip seasons. Although the weather isn't to my liking, i'm happy! It's spring break! I've waited for this for so long! I did my spring cleaning today! I'm so excited. My room looks brilliant and happy...like me!! It took me a long time to pick up all my crap. I started sweeping and then i vacuumed the whole place down. The vacuum i used was so strong that it started to pick out some of my carpet. That was mildly intense. The internet was down for about 6 hours, from 12-6, so i couldn't jump on and update to waste my time. Since i didn't have anything to do, i started taking pictures of my room.
Now, to the virgin eye, one might think this desk is a cluttered mess! Oh, how you are wrong. I bought that fab desk from ikea. I love studying in my room. I used to not be able to, but now i'm ok with it. I might get distracted, but i don't care. I still get my stuff done.
I even made my bed!! Don't you love my two babies on my bed? I don't know why my folded comforter is kind of crumpled, but i like it. The walls are a bit bare. That's not my fault. I love decorating and the stupid walls just wouldn't hold anything i put on it. I was kind of upset for awhile, but quickly got over it. The walls are nice, not cluttered. If you are wondering, that red thing in the middle is a chinese zodiac thing. My dad took me out to eat and he stole me that thing and told me to keep it. So now, it's up on my wall.
I'm proudest of this. Sorry for the random things sticking out of my drawers. Apparently i didn't do too well cleaning that part. Anyways, i organized my makeup desk. Everything is nice, clean and tidy! Yay, now i know where everything is! I'm going home for spring break and spending time with the family and bf. I need a break from school. After awhile you don't have the energy to do anything at all. You just aren't motivated to do well and you settle for mediocre. I hate mediocreness. I am a very average person. I don't think i excel in anything, i just try really really hard. I've been using honey on my nose for awhile and it looks pretty good. If i see any drastic changes, i'll report the news. I'm not quite sure tho, so we shall see.

If you get bored often and want to surf the net but are out of ideas or places to serf, here is a suggestion. I found this sites while i was bored and procrastinating. I hope you have fun reading this as mush as i do! The site is called Photoshop Disasters. This makes me laugh. I never paid much attention to detail, but now i think i should. It's amazing what people will see if they just quietly observe.
This was published! Can you believe that? It's such a humungo dungo mistake. The thing is, would you have noticed if someone didn't already point it out? It's sort of like optical illusions. This project is fairly new, so i don't know how long it will run. I like the concept though. It's very original. If this site keeps up with the updates, then i'm pretty sure it'll become a hit in no time.

I'm listening to music as i'm writing this entry. The bad thing about listening to music is that your hearing is endangered. Why do i say this? While i was in class Weds, we were doing a couple of experiments testing the peoples audible range. Apparently, i'm lacking. I couldn't hear a lot of the higher pitches. I remember when i was little i was afraid of becoming deaf. I always imagined myself hearing random "ringings," similar to beethoven's case. That's scary as heck. Right now, i think i hear better in my left ear than in my right. Isn't that weird?

My room is exceptionally cold today. When i'm typing, i think all the blood is drained from my fingers because they are tilted upward. By the time i'm done, i'll usually have purple-ish, blue-ish hands. My palms turn color. I thought that was weird until i realized the trend. I'm a typing fiend. A lot of my friends say i sound like a machine gun. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today's weather is just perfect for swimming and beaching. Is it time to look for another swim suit? Hmm.

Cute picture of the day.

It's like eating little men! Yum! And they are kind of heart shaped. Cutesy.

Stinky Cows!

I used to really like cows. I thought they were really cute, neat-o, and overall gentle creatures. That was until i became lactose intolerant and started studying/observing them. Even though i'm lactose intolerant, i still find time to eat ice cream! Thank goodness for ice cream. The only problem is that i can only eat small portions, so i tend to eat sorbet or something. Anyways, back to cows. In reality, they are ugly and really smelly. We went to this field where tons of cow graze. Amazingly enough, the field is right on campus.

It was freezing outside and we were there because of a class. Such torture! They usually grazed, but there was the occasional nudge and tail flicker. I think the most exciting thing i've seen was the bull defecating. Poo is really gross and it smells. It was so hard to walk in the field because you don't know where or what you were stepping in. I think the cows were starting to warm up to us until they started running away and moo-ing nonstop. Then we had to run after them. That wasn't lovely. Trying to be inconspicuous around a bunch of cows is really hard. I guess they don't like observers. It's really cold outside and my body definitely reacted. My nose is dripping nonstop and my hands were really white and dry. It was snowing in the DFW area, i kind of wish it snowed. If it snowed, there might be a possibility that classes cancel. Actually, i don't have class today so it wouldn't matter at all.

I ran into the door. It hit my eye and i was blinded for awhile. My foot was right in front of the door and it came swinging back as i walked forward. That's not very smart of me and my reaction is very delayed, so the outcome wasn't so lovely. The bf told me that we're not going to the concert. What a bummer. I really wanted to go, too. I should've known, things like this always happen to me. It's ok, right now i'm lemming for A Fine Frenzy tickets in Austin. I guess i should've looked earlier because it looks like it's not going to happen either. I really want to do something this Spring Break. My sister is going to San Antonio for Sea World and a wedding. I really want to go to the beach.
I really want to just lay on the sand and soak up the sun. That sounds really nice, along with exfoliating. I love sand! The only problem is that i don't like stupid drunkards on a nice beach. That's really hard to avoid when it's Spring Break. Yuck.

Across the Universe has been on the SU channel for awhile. I caught glimpses, mostly the ending. That's the important part, right? I think it's a good ending. The brother didn't die and the couples ended up together. A big happy family reunion. I want to watch the movie, Penelope. It looks like such a fairytale. A girl, Christina Ricci, is cursed with a pig nose and the only way to reverse the curse is to find her one true love and kiss him. Isn't that sweet! Very predictable, but that is such a cute premise.
I remember when Christina Ricci played that little girl in The Adam's Family movie. She was the dark girl in pigtails that never smiled. I can't remember any other movies she's been in, but i remember liking that movie. The other girl in Penelope is the darling, Reese Witherspoon. She's too cute and her square face and prominent jaw line works for her. The main guy, James McAvoy is also a personal fave. He's Mr. Tumnus! I love that little faun. I love Narnia! I think he's so adorable. He definitely captured my heart in Narnia. For awhile, i wanted a loyal faun friend. Oh, the magic that is Narnia!

A man got stuck in a well 15 ft beneath his kitchen because he was trying to save his dog. The blind, deaf, 14- y.o collie accidentally walked into a well. Lucky for him, the fire department came and rescued both pet and owner. [read more here] It's amazing to see the strong relationship between man and animal. It's a very powerful thing. I've always watched movies and read books about things but i don't know if i've ever witnessed it. I love my dogs, but is it a strong enough bond? Maybe i should get a collie and test this out. The thing is I don't like collies.
I think they have long noses. Actually, the dog doesn't look so bad. I'm just biased and like my dog better.

Cute picture of the day.
