Clinique vs. Biore

You are looking at the Clinique pore minimizer thermal active skin refiner. I used this for awhile to target blackhead and pores. It was really good, but at a price of roughly $28 for a teensy 2.5 oz, is it really worth it? So off i went looking for a new product. I am, after all, a college student and a bargain shopper.

I saw this on sale and wanted to try it out. It's got similar ingredients and claims to do the same thing, for a fraction of clinique's price. So after using it for about 1-2 months, i can honestly say i love biore. If you combo this with an electric toothbrush as an exfoliator, it does wonders. The thing is, you have to be patient and religious with your regimen. This works really well on my skin, but because everyone has different skin types it might not work well on others. So if you are allergic to certain ingredients, make sure to check carefully before use.

I've been on a shoe craze lately or rather, more so than usual. I went to the mall yesterday intending to buy little sister an outfit for her senior pics. Out of the corner of my eye, i saw a shoe sale! What beauty! I walked in and spotted a really cute pair for $30. I ended up walking into the store, buying the shoes, and leaving the store in under 8 min. What an impulse buy. Good grief. Maybe this isn't so hard to imagine, but my things are still in boxes. So i generally have a well-put together outfit, minus the shoes because i'm too lazy to unbox my box of shoes. That just gives me an excuse to buy more shoes because i don't have shoes on me. What a lame excuse. In addition, i bought panties. My collection of colorful underwear is getting too colorful for me. I think the next time i go shopping for panties, i'm going to go for simple neutrals. I had this discussion with a couple of my girlfriends awhile back about lingerie. The point of having sexy lingerie is to wear it for someone, preferbly your significant other. But what if you don't have a significant other? Should you just buy it for yourself to feel sexy? I mean, i've always heard about the whole dressing appropriately thing coupled with the dressing naughty underneath it all thing. Hmm, i don't care enough at this point to buy a hot-stuff bustier.

When i flip through youtube, i'm amazed at how consistent some members are. I don't get the whole, "I know, i'm slacking because my last vid was a week ago." It's only a week, i guess i can forgive you. But that sure makes me seem like a lazy fool. So i thought it was funny when i received a comment saying, "it's been awhile since your last vid..." It's only been 5 days? Blah. Anyways, i like natural lighting. I like how the sun adds a certain glow to my green room when i open the blinds. It's really peaceful. I don't know why i chose green as my wall color. I guess i just wanted life in my room. Rather than spending time taking care of plants or fish, i'd rather my room BE life.

I've never been big on pranks, but this one sure sounds fun. A lady from oregon realized one day that her ceramic dog lawn decor was missing. She thought that was the last of him until postcards started arriving, updating her on the dog's adventure. Apparently, the pranksters took the ceramic on a month-long tour across the states. When it was time to give the ceramic dog back, the pranksters also returned two more puppies. How darling. [source] That kind of reminds me of the whole gnome traveling thing. I'm not sure if it's a commercial or part of a movie, but you basically take pictures of a garden gnome in various places doing various things to document your time there. I kind of wanted a garden gnome until i saw the size of that thing. I'd rather lug around necessities.

Cute picture of the day.

Cool Blues, Mean Sisters, and Happy Music

Happy in Blue. I decided to put blue on my eyes because i was wearing my blue cowboy boots today. Excuse the dazed and confused expression. My cam wasn't working and then when it did work, it snapped the weirdest picture. The colors are a lot more vibrant in real life. These are all leishi colors, dry. Inner corner is white, followed by a blue 2/3 of the eye, and a dark blue in the outer v. I blended and highlighted with a taupe color. I think this took me only 5 min. The lighting is kind of orange and the quality isn't the greatest, but it's the best i can do. I took this on my webcam. I'm to lazy to use my real camera. My eyebrows look really nice! Yay. That's because i actually took the time to groom them. I might want to do them again soon. I've been a real moody judy lately. I think it's became it's pre-GOHP. I hate it when it happens because i have little patience and i turn into an all around bad guy. Yeash.

I need calming music. So what happens when you say this to your older sister: "She's upset because you're no help...ever." She answers: "Just shut up." All i'm asking is for her to treat her family better than her friends. All i'm asking is for her to be a little bit more responsible and to be fair. Don't let your siblings and parents do all the brunt of the work. How annoying. My mom once said that i need to cut her some slack because she has a skin condition. She has eczema! That shouldn't stunt her ability to help around the house. Since she's the oldest she's favored. She gets whatever she wants. That's also because she is really good at school and becoming a doctor, finally fulfilling my parent's dreams. I might not bring home the excellent grades, but i'm not bad. I also am very dependable and help around the house. If there's trouble, they call me first. Does that mean anything? I'm just tired of the house. It's so hard to live under one roof peacefully. Sometimes i don't know how to.

I really like this song. It cheers me up. I hope ya'll like it too. I know i have weird taste in music. It's so charming. I love a little old-school melody. The things i hear today are so blase and redundant. I remember on friday, i passed by a store that i thought was called "a pea in a poo." I was like, what the heck...why would anyone name their store that. Then, i realized it was "a pea in a pod." Ahh, that would make tons of sense. When i came home, my little sister and i did a little mv for a parody i recorded earlier. She told me what to do and she's editing it, so hopefully it'll look ok. It took a lot of effort because i kept forgetting the lyrics. Gosh darned. I don't know how people do it. The parody was a shortened version of the whole song, so i don't know why i couldn't remember the lyrics. We had to do a couple (a lot) of takes. It was fun though.

I rented this at the library so that my little brother can watch it. He's at the age where cartoons are for little kids and big kid movies are too big kid for him. It's an awkward age. Anyways, this movie is so...crazy. It's not as bad as other movies i've seen though. If you are young, you might appreciate this movie. The acting was only sub-par. There are a lot of young actresses out there and compared to them, i think these kids are lacking. I didn't believe them; it felt very fake. The storyline was too out there for me. Ya'll know my take on aliens an A.I, i just don't buy it in movies. Unless they are sci-fi movies. I laughed a lot because it was so incredulous. I don't even remember the whole story because i was only halfway paying attention. I don't know if my little brother liked it either. I think they couldn't bumped up the visuals up a notch. It's supposed to be a magical movie filled with a lot of creativity. I just didn't buy any of it. I give this movie a 2.3/5. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt. It might be because i'm old that i think this way because i'm not sure what the younger crowd thinks.

How long should a person get locked up for keeping a person in a cage? Lets make it more specific. How long should a mother get locked up for keeping her adopted, 17 y.o son in a cage? The answer...is 20 years. Did anyone guess right? The teen weighed 49 pounds when child welfare workers found him in 2005 in what appeared to be a cage. Sullivan told a judge at the time that Ohio authorities told her to keep the boy, who had severe medical and emotional problems, in a crib. She pleaded guilty for child abuse. [read more here] That is incredibly sad. I can't believe anyone could do that to their own child. I guess she could because he's not really her own flesh and blood. But what happened to having a conscience? I think she deserves more than 20 years. Darn beestard.
Cute picture of the day.
Wow! Isn't that so neato!

3 M's: Makeup, Mini, and Music

As much as i shouldn't be craving to play with more makeup, i really want this palette. It's beautiful and easy to carry around. The colors are dime sized and there are 88 different shades to play with. For $20, this is definitenly worth it. On top of that, there's a case for easy mobility. I love that idea and it's mroe preferable than keeping 88 little jars of mineral wear everywhere. If you are wondering, it's the coastal scents 88 color palette. If i hadn't already bought leishi off ebay, this would be it. As much as i love love love mineral makeup, i think it's very bothersome to use sometimes. With mineral eye wear, you have to be super duper careful, otherwise you'll make a mess. With the palette, you also get the matte feel and it can be applied wet, so very versatile as well. Applying mineral wear is a tricky thing. You have to have a good primer, base, and mixing medium. Anyways, i'm still thinking about investing in this palette. It's so gorgeous! The colors are so vibrant and i really want to play around with it. As much as i love makeup, i don't like to put it on myself. Isn't that funny/weird. I'd rather have a fresh face beside me so that i can paint. It's a lot funner. Maybe i'll do another makeup tutorial. I liked how the last vid turned out. Now that i'm stuck in summer, i guess it gives me a chance to play with colors. The thing with me is that i'm and avid researcher. I make the effort to find good deals and unconventional makeup techniques. I hate splurging and I'm just not a brand whore.

I've decided on the mini cooper s. I don't know when i'm going to order it, but i think it's going to be soon. I really like the crisp, clear blue color so hopefully my mom chooses it. She's going to be handling that business for me. We were eyeballing two colors, the gold and blue. I'm ok with either, but the blue just makes me feel happy. I was driving my car today thinking of different names i can call my car. I'm not sure what gender it is yet and can't decide until it actually belongs to me. For some reason, despite it's color i think it's going to be a girl. We're just going to have to see. My last car was jacob and i think the name fits him perfectly. Big booty jacob. This has to be completed soon otherwise i won't have a car to drive back to austin. Sigh. I really hope my older sister doesn't give me hell for this. She doesn't want the parents buying me a car. I'll leave the reasons to myself.

This is where we're going tomorrow. It should be fun. I'm in the mood for water and relaxation. I need time off from parents. They've been on my back about everything since i've been home. It's been horrendous. It's supposed to be small and clean. Cleanliness is important because i don't want to walk in pee. That's just nasty. It just opened and we're going now because the public school kids aren't out yet. My siblings and i are kind of biased. Since we've been raised in private school settings, we rarely like to associate ourselves with public schoolers. I think it's mainly because we already feel alienated within our school-microcosm, so we'd rather not experience ostracism from people who don't know us (like public schoolers). I'm totally not narrow-minded on this subject and can be easily persuaded/open to the idea of integration. I'm not a bigot either. Sigh. I don't think i should need to defend myself when i'm talking about things on my blog because it's purely opinion without any merit. On the upside, OBAMA is now the democratic candidate. I kind of feel bad for lady clinton. She tried so hard and has worked so hard, just to be upset by obama, someone with a lot of promise but little experience.

My opinions on JT has changed. I saw him on a re-run of oprah and think he's a brilliant performer. I performed what goes around. I actually got chills from his performance. I'm very impressed. On this episode of oprah, she features JT, Reba!!!!, and Kelly Clarkson. I absolutely tootly love reba! I think she is utterly amazing. The duet she sang with JT is now one of my favorites. It's so calming and just so simple. I love it. I'm equally impressed that JT wrote it. His vocal strength is still a little questionable, but as a performer, he's superb. He shines with Reba on that stage. I think kelly kind of fell in the background sitting next to her. Now, i really want to Reba Duets album. I love duets and i love reba. My two loves put together. I must get my hands on a copy. It's an old album, so hopefully not all the links will be broken. (I admit, i'm a pirate) I've also been hearing brilliant things about the Jason Mraz album that came out awhile back. I love the Lucky song on the album. If you haven't heard, maybe i'll feature the song on my next entry.

This news story just happens to be really funny to me and morbidly embarrassing to the victim. A tourist in Australia decided to take a roadside piss. While he was doing his business, a brown snake slithered between his legs and bit his wee-wee. First of all, how can the man not notice a snake on the ground, right underneath him. That's a mind boggler. Interestlingly, the snake didn't inject venom and retreated after the bite. [read more here] He sure is a lucky bugger. I would hate to imagine what would happen if the bite was fatal. Moral of the story? Don't wee-wee on the roadside and if you must, check alert for snakes or other biting animals.

Cute picture of the day.

That's a pimped out mac book.

Tulip Eyes Video, Laptops, and Worst Healthy Drinks!

I created this look yesterday using silver and pink eyeshadow. Little sister helped me edit this, but i ended up editing this myself when i came home today. It turned out pretty good (if i do say so myself) for a first timer.

Tulip Eyes - Using Silver and Pink

Materials used:
Primer
Tarte tease shadow stain
Leishi #3 (inner eye and inner bottom lid)
Leishi #23 (2/3 of eye)
Leishi #87 (outer v and contour; bottom lid)
Leishi #22 (highlight and blend)
Black eyeliner and mascara
Wet n' Wild Naive blush
Light silver/pink cheek highlighter
Bronzer
Cotton Candy-esque lipstick and gloss
**Note: If you need to shape your eyebrows, i advise you do so.

I learned three things about myself while i was doing this vid. First, i hum a lot. I don't even know what i'm humming, but i'm always in song. Secondly, i say "ok" a lot. I don't know why. Maybe it's to reassure myself that it is "ok." Thirdly, i need to clean up after myself otherwise people will assume different things. For instance, when my dad came home and saw the tripod and camera in the bathroom he said, "why are you taping yourself in the shower?" We laughed it off because it sounded ridiculous and i told him what i was doing. I'm not porno material, nor would i ever do anything like that. I've got a lot of chub i'm not proud of. Well, that's not the real reason i won't ever do stuff like that. It's just overall degrading to women everywhere. I won't reinforce anything that belittles women after the struggle we've gone through to achieve acceptance. But i won't condone the act. I'm very perspectival and understand that different people have different situations.

Today i did a lot of laptop window shopping. I'm still at a loss of what i should buy. I have three - Sony Vaio CR407e/p, Toshiba U405-S2826, and the HP Tx 2000 - that i'm looking at right now, but i'm still so unsure! Right now, i'm leaning towards the HP.
The only thing i LOVE about this vaio is the color. How beautiful/attractive is that darling notebook? It just screams "JUDY!" When the bf saw it, he immediately grabbed my hand and directed me to it. I'm not a big fan of Vista though. Is there a way i can downgrade? The only thing i care about is memory space, webcam and audio capabilities. I'm so weird. I just really want to be connected. Oh, and i want a light one! 5 lb is so heavy! I need to build up muscle strength.
I don't know if that's the picture of the one i'm looking at, but it's a toshiba? The one i saw was sleek and very pretty. The design was nice and it was really light. The bf called it contemporary. Well, he said that after we saw an old looking one. There aren't any features that i love about it except it's weight. I remember it being super light. I was impressed. The other toshiba's i've seen were heavy metal! *NOTE - Yea, the picture is a different model. I just looked at the picture. hehehe
It's a tablet! I was so amazed when i saw it. It's light and it's really cute. I'm leaning towards this one the most, but i don't know. I've been looking at reviews and i'm kind of unsure. The idea of a tablet is just so cool to me. I take vigorous notes in class. VIGOROUS is an understatement. With this, i'd be able to maintain all my notes! Isn't that exciting! The SA said that a lot of TCU kids use this and it sells out face. Does that mean anything? I guess it does? The only concern i have is durability. I don't want it to snap while swiveling. The monitor needs to be securely attached and maintainable, otherwise i don't want it. Sigh, i guess that means more notebook window shopping for me. I hate going into stores and walkign out empty handed. It's no fun. When i shopped at charlotte russe today, i got a cute little jacket. The bf gave me the ok and we checked out. When i showed my mom, she sung my praises and said how it was so adorable. Yay! Score one for the bargain shopper. Bargain because it was only 6.99! Sales are wonderful.

I have several songs stuck in my head right now. I don't even know the lyrics so i make them up as i go. Damaged by Danity Kane - I don't even like this song, but it's so darned catchy. All i know is the beginning. After that and it's all downhill. I just start repeating what i know and start shaking my body as if i'm dancing. Yea, that's how i get my groove on. The single recently released by Maroon 5 - It's nice, but i have no idea what the lyrics are. I just randomly make up my own lyrics to the tune that i barely know. So i end up making the whole thing up. Creativity never fails me! Single released by Natasha Beddingfield. It's so darned catchy, but so fast i can't keep up. The song makes me happy! "Take me away, to a better place..." Natasha is always a hit-miss for me. Some of her singles i love, others i hate. It's sort of like rihanna, but i ultimately like the umbrella girl. I think her voice is unique. Her song writing skills might need a little help, but it's alright.

So i saw the bf's little sister drink vitamin water and thought to myself, "that's one of the worse healthy drinks you can drink." Instead of keeping this info to myself, i'm going to relay you the news! Start spreading the word! On yahoo, a guy wrote an article that stems from this very relateable statement: "I know a lot of people that are battling with their weight, and they tell me all the time, 'I don't eat that much, and I still can't lose weight.' " A study from the University of North Carolina found that we consume 450 calories a day from beverages, nearly twice as many as 30 years ago!
For a list of WORST beverages, click HERE. Isn't that interesting! To drink more healthy, check out this LIST of what you should drink and what you shouldn't drink. All this information is credited to those two sites. I've never tried mineral water, but i guess there's no need for me now. The best drink is always water! Keep hydrated during the summer kids.

Cute picture of the day.

The bf said he bought me a present! I don't think it's this though.

Accidents, Tulip Eyes, and Series Finales

I am tired of being irritating/being bitchy and hating life. Where is this emo-ness coming from? The bf asked me if it was pms and i think it might. Hormonal changes kill me! Anyways, today was another super duper busy day. My older sister and I went to eyemasters to get her some new glasses. I think we picked out 10 different pairs and narrowed it down to 4. We ended up choosing a really cute black frame with an internal leopardy print. It fits well with kim's feisty side. The only bad thing about going there was waiting for an a associate. I think the wait was over 45 min. Maybe they were understaffed? After that, we roamed the mall and bought some lip stuff from bath and body works. I love the mint stuff! It tingles! I was trying out this jar of lotion and ended up tipping the whole jar in my hand while applying the lotion. The lotion spilled out everywhere and made a mess! How embarrassing! I didn't know what to do and started scoop it back into the jar when my sis said stop and pushed my hand away. I had to humiliate myself by asking a SA to clean up my mess. Good thing she was nice about it. After that i felt obligated to buy something, although i was planning to already! We bought three colors of the mint gloss. It smells good, so yummy! I also tried out the lip plumper. It definitely tingled for a long time. It felt...prickly? I don't think it plumped very much either.

When i we were done with the mall, i quickly dropped sis off at work and went to go pick up little bro. When i picked him up, i asked him if he was hungry. I always ask him and he always say, "i don't know" or "i don't care." For the first time he gave me a definite answer! TACO BELL! HALLELUJIA! The service there was semi-bad. They forgot my order! When i went up there with a dumpy frown, the guy was so aplogetic and nice that i had to smile and say, "it's ok." Then i took the kid to kumon. While he studied, i went to walgreens to pick up a few items. When he was done with junk i rushed home. There was yummy food and things were looking up. That's when i decided to do the makeup vid for my friend. I have a name for my silvery-pink look! I call it Tulip Eyes!
I had to wash my face and start over fresh. I think it's very pretty. While i was doing my face, i kind of wished i had a chance/reason to get pretty and dolled up too. I pitched the idea (two-three months ago) of a second-chance prom to the SU committee, but i don't know if they're buying it. My prom wasn't a good memory. I didn't like my hs and i didn't like the ppl in my hs. I was also forced to go. Anyways, that's old news. I used for eyeshadow colors - silver, light pink, dark pink, white/pinky - on my lids. I used a natural looking pink for my cheeks to add a glow and a pink-cotton candy color for my lips. Overall, i feel like a flower! Hoa dep lam! (chuckle) My little sister is editing the vid right now. Thanks little one! Little sis also made food at home. She made this fish and my mom made canh. While iw as eating, i ran to find her so i could sing her praises. Then i said, "i'm glad we're going to be rooming in the near future because then you can feed me!" I love her so much! And not just because she cooks well.

Tonight is the night of season finales! I watched ugly betty and so you think you can dance at the same time. I don't know what's happening on ugly betty, but i wish for the best. It seems like a good show. So you think you can dance was really good. There was this amazing popper that reminded me of Cedric from last year. He was a contortionist, twisting his body in ungodly ways. It was amazing! When that ended, i watched the 2 hour season finale of grey's. I haven't seen that show in ages! The ending was good. All ended well for almost everyone. I forgot his name, but the guy lost his "significant other" to a psych ward and Iz got the clinic. The on and off couple are on again, but derek had to break it off with rose? Whatever. It was weird. Oh, and two people turned lesbian? Yea, i don't know. Grey's is getting weird. On the radio i heard that Kobe Bryant is involved in another sec scandal. Why do guys do that when they already have a hot significant other at home? He's so stupid. Apparently he was sexing with a Laker's cheerleader. Her name is also Vanessa (exactly like his wife's name), but she's only 18. Ahh, fresh meat. The rules say you can't be sexing cheerleaders, even though Kobe vehemently denied allegations. Conveniently, the laker's girl decided to quit her cheering career for a job as a host right when news broke? How coincidental. When do guys learn? Once an cheater always a cheater? I hope his poor wife leaves his sorry behind. What's that song, "fool me once shame on me!"...uh, yea, i don't know it, but it seems fitting!

Birds are smart. Some are smarter than you. So when this little birdy got lost, he did what he was taught: recite his name and address to a stranger willing to help. Police found the lost bird and kept him until he was transferred to a nearby vet. The birdy didn't say anything at the popo's, but started chatting away when he arrived at the vet. "I'm Mr. Yosuke Nakamura," the bird told the veterinarian, according to Uemura. The parrot also provided his full home address, down to the street number, and even entertained the hospital staff by singing songs. When the vet checked the address recited, they family was reunited with their lost pet. Apparently, the family has been teaching the parrot for 2 years. I kind of want a bird not. Not really, i've had many birds in my lifetime. For a part of my life, my parents were cockatiel breeders. Birds smell and make a mess. They are kind of like babies, dependent on adults for survival! Except they don't grow up into adults. If you want that kind of trouble, go for it!

Cute picture of the day.

Ironman and Jolly Rancher

Am i the only movie-goer not dully impressed by Ironman? I walked in having high expectations. Rightfully so, because all the critics gave it either an A or a B+. Let's talk about the things i enjoyed about the movie. The cast was superb. Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark was impeccable casting. It was like the role was made specifically for him. I actually believed him in the movie. I don't remember where i've seen Terrence Howard in other movies, but he plays Rhodes in Ironman. I like this kid. He's always a hero to me. It might be because he reminds me of Cuba Gooding Jr. - LOVE! Obadiah was a true villain. Throughout the movie i suspected him. I thought he was evil, conniving and very convincing. The very qualities you want in a villain. Last but not least, the subtle eye candy. I love Gwyneth Paltrow. I used to not like her, but she grows on you as an actress. She seems very charming and down to earth. Though some might call her homely, i see her as a diamond in the ruff. The script was very good. I liked Stark's dry humor and fast wit. It kept me laughing. The visuals were beautifully integrated and very well executed. All my senses were put to good use and for the most part, satisfied. Even smell because that movie theater sure did wreak. Anyways, for some reason all the pros about this movie didn't make the feel-good feeling last. The last fight scene didn't pack enough punch for me. It winded down too fast and his romance was not solidified. I know that there were implications of the couple "finally" together, but i'd like to see something concrete. I'm a sucker for the whole fairytale ending, so that's a crucial aspect for me. All in all, i thought it was well-played out. I don't think it's a movie i'd watch over and over again, but it was well worth the watch. Ironman put up a valiant fight, but Transforms undoubtedly won in the end (for me, at least)

I was about to do nothing today and ended up going out with the bf to watch Ironman. Crazy how things spontaneously happen. When i came home, i started messing around with makeup. I know, why am i so random? Like before, i only did one eye. In the light my acne looks awful. It resembles a rocky terrain suffering from drought. Nasty as heck. I hope it gets better. I don't know what to do about it. Anyways, i think i'm going to make a vid tutorial tomorrow based on this look. I used 4 colors in total. I took pictures in natural lighting, no flash and bathroom lighting, no flash.
Please don't comment about my eyebrows. I haven't groomed them in so long. Ever since i've been home, i've become extremely lazy. Ya'll should see my room. It's a total mess! I'm not sure if i like how this turned out. You can sort of see my contact!
Once again, don't mind the eyebrows and now the bags. I'm aware that i look completely nasty. So for the inner eye and inner lower, i used a gold pigment. For the next 2/3 of the eye, i used a light pink. In this case, i think the light pink is too light. It might be washed out by the other two colors. It might work, i don't know. I'm kind of indifferent at this point. Sometimes it looks good and other times it looks blah. I used hot pink for the outer-v, contour, and lower lid. On the top of the eye, i used a pale-ish, neutral color to highlight and blend. I went for a taupe color with minimum sparklage because i'm modest and don't want to look like a tranny. I tightlined my eye and then went over the top with liner. For the bottom eye, i rimmed my waterline with eyeliner as well. To finish, i curled my lashes and mascary-ed them. Goldy-Pink/Jolly Rancher is what i call this.

My sister made her black bean soup. Surprisingly, it was delish. It had a tex-mex feel. I call it black bean chili because it has the same consistency. During dinner i started watching my shows! In DWTS, Kristi and Mark are back on top with a perfect 60! I only caught the freestyle round, but the dancers are all bringing their A-game. I'm impressed. I hear that Kristi is the favorite! She needs to call upon asians and girls to pull her through. Christian started speaking spanish, saying that Latinos need tot back him up. The finale tomorrow night should be fun to watch. It's a 2-hour session with Usher as the guest performer. Then, i sat down and watched House. I haven't seen any of this season, so of course the only one i catch is the season finale. Although i don't have any connection towards the characters, i genuinely felt sad. It was a very heartfelt season finale. Throughout the episode, my sisters and i were asking each other what happened. Like any of us knew, it was a laugh. So house's best friend wilson's lover died. Apparently, house was drunk at a bar and called wilson to pick him up. Wilson was busy, so amber went and got him. House piled onto a bus and she followed suit. She was taking medicine for her flu and that was when the bus crashed. House went had a concussion/coma and then had a heart attack. Now, he can't sleep well and has a loss of memory. Because of the bus crash, Amber had liver failure which caused her flu medicine to seep into her body causing an overdose. She died because of it. Poor house is sad that his best friend hates him. To top it off, the other girl doctor with blonde hair learned she has huntington's disease. The whole episode was sad.

Since my baby cousin's b-day was yesterday, i have tons of leftovers today. It was a fun event. I never realized my height/size until i'm actually asked. My aunt asked me how tall i was. She made a guess of 5'8. I kind of gaped and said, minus 6 inches! She was shocked as well, saying that i was so short. Everyone in my family thinks i'm tall/model height because i have long legs. It's the illusion. I have heels and long arms. I saw this girl there, my uncle's friend's daughter, that looked 18! She was only 15! She was tall, slender, and in my opinion, pretty. I was shocked when she said she was only a freshman in hs. For some reason, i felt that she was fake. I didn't like her voice or the way she spoke. I am so critical...and mean.

The tourism ministry on Monday named Hello Kitty as its choice to represent the country in China and Hong Kong, two places where she is wildly popular among kids and young women. Officials hope that tapping into that fan base will lead to a bigger flow of tourists into Japan, and closer toward their goal of attracting 10 million overseas visitors every year under the "Visit Japan" campaign. [read more here] Although it sounds silly, i think it's a smart idea. What better way to attract tourists than a big, pink, hello kitty? I, for one, really love the idea. What is japan? Japan is cute, friendly, and loving. You get all of that in a hello kitty. I don't know how serious people will take HK, but it's worth a try. Apparently, tourism is japan has become popular. Why not take the chance and go for the sky! Although i think the idea is brilliant, i think a HK needs a mouth. I saw her show and always thought it was weird how she could talk but didn't have a mouth. How does that work? That's me becoming over analytical about things. Sometimes i sound like my sisters.

Makeup: Pink/Purple & Gold/Brown

When the bf leaves and the friends are off doing their own thing...what is a girl to do? Well, i played with makeup! I must say, it was kind of fun playing around with colors. It's better than sulking and worrying about other things. This post is primarily for my friend since she asked me about makeup.

These are closeups of my face. I have absolutely no foundation/concealer on. You can see that my eyebrows need major grooming and my pores need some help. I don't really care. I was too tired to even bother about the rest of my face. Anyways, on my right eye, i used 4 colors: pink, purple, dark black/purple and gold (to highlight my brow bone). I tightlined my eyes and mascara-ed them.
This is what it looks like with my eyes opened. On the bottom, i just lined my waterline and mascara-ed my lashes. It's a very basic smoky eye look. The mascara was a bit messy because i swooshed them really fast. My skin doesn't look so bad. I'm quite amazed. *Just to note, i did NOT re-touch any of these pictures. I don't know how to ps, nor do i have the program. All i did was resize the image.

The second eye is a really easy, pretty look. It's one of my personal faves. I used 4 colors: gold, tan, brown, and light gold (to highlight my brow bone). Wow, it looks kind of messy. Ehh I used gold as an eyeliner for both the top and bottom. I think i also tightlined my eyes.
It's a really pretty look. I curled my eyelashes and mascara-ed them, top and bottom. I think it only took me 5 min-ish.
This is both of my eyes in a front shot. I guess i could've smiled? I don't know why my cheeks are flushed. It might be because y room is mega hot..,or i'm just naturally hot. It's hard to decide. Har har

Here's what it looks like closed. I also have vids i made if anyone is curious as to how i created these two looks.

Beware: FDH Alert.

When i woke up, my hair was a mess. That's what i get for sleeping with my hair wet. Today was a long today. I don't know how i made through it. I ended up hungry most of the day so i lugged around a bag of potato chips. I am nice so i offer it to the class. It doesn't mean you can come up to me and keep asking me for food. That's annoying. Especially when you are gross. Sigh. People are just so...weird. I'm going through this phase where i want to clean out facebook and myspace. I want to delete all accounts that i don't really know or keep in touch. Does that sound bad? It's also even more annoying when they start adding you after they noticed you deleted them. There's a reason why you were deleted. People...ugh. Oh...and another complaint. I'm sorry that i'm going off on you today, but i think people are just so unbelievable (can be both good and bad). I have nothing against black people, but this particular bigot gets me annoyed beyond measure. He thinks he's the shit, know-it-all, he's mega rude and a real bitch. I also think he's gay and a racist. What's funny is that he doesn't know everything and so when he talked, it's like jibberish. I've taken up the tactic of ignoring his existence when he is in my presence. I don't feel like i should waste my time on this person we shall call Fugly Dick-Head (FDH). Don't think that me calling him FDH is unjustifiable. I have very valid reasons that i will not indulge now because talking about it will get me riled up. Let's just say he has WAY more enemies than friends on campus. I know this for a fact.

Now, let me tell you why i brought FDH. My older sister is in charge of the fashion show my school is having. This wouldn't be a problem if people cooperate and make this easier on everyone. Since my sister does everything last minute, we were scrambling to get things done. That's a real problem when you are running low on time. Rehearsal was today and it started right after i came out of class. that means i wouldn't have time to eat dinner because my class ends at 4.45 - so, i was already rally cranky. Anyways, we got there and changed to do a total run through. Each group is in charge of their own section and A.S.I.A was first. My sister was dictating everything because she was in charge. I'm glad someone took charge, otherwise we would've had to stay behind a lot longer. While we were practicing the entertainment aspect, FDH had the nerve to talk crap about my sister. YOU IDIOT! ONLY famiLE can talk crap about family. I was about to tear his head off. I know my sister can be overbearing, but FDH didn't help at all. Why whine and complain when you're of no help. People like this make me sick. If he could do a better job, then go right ahead. Too bad he'll never get the chance. He's irresponsible and way too stupid. That one reckless move he did all first year started the landslide of crap he's done. I don't pity the fool. The fool should pity himself.

The bf is coming up this friday. I'm really excited because it's out one year!! I don't know if we are doing anything in particular, but i want to look nice. I guess i'm more "clothes aware" because he said you can dress up. I love dressing up, but i'm probably just going to wear a pair of jeans and a top...a nice top? I really want to go shopping, but i don't think i have time. Which is a shame. I'll be busy all day tomorrow. I have a fashion show and a major paper that i have to write. Me, being really stupid again, decided to wait last minute. Let's see if i will triumph! I walked back from my meeting just awhile and tripped over a branch. Gosh darn. It scratch up my foot. Sigh, when will i learn to pick up my feet. People say they always know i'm coming because of how loud i walk. You can hear me slid my feet. That's why all my soles are worn out pretty bad. That's more reason for me to buy shoes! See my misguided logic? *smug smile*

Tonight, my friend and i played with makeup. Well, more like i played with makeup on her. I did too looks. I really like bright colors. I think she has a very unusual eye shape. It's pretty, but i don't think it can handle lots of color. This requires some looking up. Monolids, i think, are a lot harder to put makeup. I think it's because i've been spoiled with double lids. What's funny with her eyes? - They aren't totally mono! Sometimes they are double and other times they are monolid. Isn't that funny. OK, after looking at a couple of makeup websites, i think i have a better idea how to go about with monolid eyes. I think the most dramatic results would have to include the usage of fake eyelashes. Alas, i do not have any on me and don't have time to run to the store. Pooey.

In new Guinness news (do you see a trend happening?), a kid in the united states set the record for blowing the most balloons through his nostrils. Andrew Dahl inflated 213 balloons one nostril at a time within an hour on Friday. Each balloon was measured by his father to ensure that they were at least 20 cm, the min diameter. His mother tallied up the balloons as they were inflated. Andrew's first attempt - 184 balloons in February - was rejected because his father tied the balloons. This time he tied them off himself. [source] Oh the crazy things peoples do for fame. I can that is a way to ensure that your name will live on...in the books. Well, that is until someone trumps his record. I'm pretty sure tha twill happen. There are many crazy people in the States, surely another will attempt nostril balloon blowing. Maybe this time, they might do it through...two nostrils! Now...that is impressive AND ambitious.

A Day with the BF

Today was fun and it was just a good excuse for me to go camera happy. I did a lot of eating. I started off the day with a little exercising. I went 20 min straight. I'm so proud of myself. Since i don't have class tomorrow, i'm probably going to do something in the morning. I took a shower and rushed to watch a little segment of the Brown Symposium. Diane Ackerman is really neat. She wrote this book called The Zookeeper's Wife. It seems really interesting. I think i might look into it. Then the bf came and that's when the fun began! I haven't been eating much lately and i don't know why. Besides that, we went to Hayashi and ate a bit. Then we visited puppies. I love looking at puppies and comparing them to ollie. I fell in love with a cutey maltipoo last time. It was reduced to about $130? $180? I really wanted him, but i can't provide him the attention he deserves so i decided not to. Wise choice! We went back and decided to chill. I bought a couple of things at Sally's Beauty and Nail store and wanted to try it out. I'm on the hunt for a fab red lipstick. I bought one on sale and asked the bf to put it on me. I initally wanted to play makeup, but he refused so this was the next best thing. He tried his best and i commend his efforts. It was just so darned funny.
It looks like he's doing some serious mouth surgery on me. Look at the technique! At least my hair looks good. It was cute because he was concentrating and doing a good job, staying in the line etc. Just to let you know, i am NOT in a sorority (AXiD), i'm just wearing their shirt because i got it for free. This is the end result. I made it difficult for him because i kept laughing. I don't know if i liked the color. First of all, i tried applying it on myself...half heartedly. It turned out awful because i didn't really pay attention to what i was doing. The bf thought he could top my application, so this was his chance to shine.
Sorry for the massive flash. It's pretty blinding, but i think this best portrays the outcome. That's his hand i'm resting my head on. It kind of reminds me of some weird geisha. During this time, we proceded to take lots of random pictures. I noticed that in pictures, i appear to have big boobies. I shouldn't have deleted this picture i took that made my boobs look massive. Not very true to life if i do say so myself. I'm very small in person. After that got boring, we started watching the movie Paris, Je T'aime. It's a very slow moving movie and we opted to take a break and nap. I love naps. I'm glad we incorporated that into our schedule. After the two hour nap, we went to Carinos for supper. I really like Carinos. I just never seem to eat that much there. I like their drinks though! You pay 2.50 for this drink and it's free refills of different flavors. It's so exciting. After dinner, we stayed at home and chilled. He left around 9. I hate partings. It's just so darned sad.
After he left, my mom phoned and told me she is visiting tomorrow. Apparently, my sister's capstone presentation is tomorrow. I wish she would tell me these things before hand. It would make my life easier. I don't have anything planned, but what if i did ya know? I was able to catch the ending of Make Me A Supermodel. My favorite girl! I love Holly. She is just to darling. You can just tell she really wanted this. I'm so glad she won. I didn't like any of the other contestants. After the show ended, i watched the premier of Step Up and Dance. It looks really interesting, so i think i'll be following this show. Elizabeth Hurley hosts and at first, i was confused. She's Save By the Bell girl! Why is she on a dance show? Apparently, she's some kind of a triple threat. She's best known for her movie Show Girl(s?). She dances really well, sings, and acts. I guess she has some credibility to her. On the show, there's this adorable asian girl: Mochi! That's such a cute nickname. I hope she stays awhile. The group of dancers are intense, so i hope she represents. I think i'm going to end early tonight and go to bed. Nights.

Car Shopping

I love love dancing with the stars. Tonight the men danced and i'm so excited. I never get to watch it while i'm at school because of work, but it's so fun! I have to say that i'm quite excited about this season's cast. The guys were impressive. Mario was really smooth, Steve Guttenberg is all charm, Jason Taylor is handsome, Adam Carolla is weird, and Pen is amusing. I can't wait to watch the girls dance. I remembered watching Kristi Yamaguchi on ice when i was little. I'm so glad she's going to dance! Everyone should watch this fab family, dancing show. It'll make you want to get up, work out and dance!

It's back to car shopping. I'm excited because my parents say i can get any car i want. That means i'm not limited to SUV's. Wonderful! I've decided i like subcompact cars or hatchbacks. Right now, i have in mind: Honda FIT, Nissan Versa, Mazda 2, Toyota Matrix, VW GTIMkV 4 door (all latest models). My parents have a thing for asian cars, probably because we're asian and partially racist. [check here] That is a list of safety cars. My parent's number one priority is safety. Ever since i got into an accident with my Honda CRV (that i totaled), there has been a stigma against Honda's. Anyways, this isn't happening till summer, so i'll just wait till then to make a definite answer. One of the best things about buying a car is that the bf can help me! It has become a very enjoyable task.

With gas prices going up, we need an alternative way to get from point A to point B. Introducing the Aptera Hyrbid:
It's amazing how technology has changed. [read more here] Apparently it's a cross between a dolphin and a helicopter. Technically classified as a motorcycly, the vehicle will only be available to residents of California when it's initially produced. If the Aptera sells well, it might be offered to the national and international markets. This idea sounds amazing. I think we should move towards flying cars next.

My face has been breaking out. There are worst places than others, but it's definitely getting better. I'm so glad. At least my face isn't Amy Winehouse:
That looks nasty. She has some skin condition that she's getting treated for. It just looks awful. I feel bad for her. Her makeup is bad too. Even though it's her trademark look, it just isn't working for her. She needs a desperate makeover. I use this product for my acne called BenzaClin. It works miracles! The only bad thing about it is that it's doctor prescribed. My little sister has a whole jar and i'm mooching on it since i'm home for break.

Cute picture of the day.

All made of fruit! So tasty.

Dissecting Girls

This is what my hair looked like by the end of last night. I looked like i partied hard, but truthfully, i barely partied. The bf likes this picture, i just like the messy, wavy hair. It looks relaxed and alive. Right now, i'm testing the hot honey thing. I dabbed a little honey into a little lid and warmed it up. I stuck it in the microwave for about 10 secs. Since i only used a dab of honey, i probably should've only warmed it up 5-7 secs. After it's warmed, i used my finger to place the honey in troubled areas on my face. In this case, i slathered it all over my nose. I'm leaving it on for about 10-15 min. It should look like a clear gel mask on your nose. When i washed it off, my nose seems a lot softer. I'm going to keep doing this for a week and if i'll document the results by the end of this week. Hopefully this will help the blackheads go away. If this works, i'm going to recommend everyone i know suffering from blackhead woes to try this out. My skin is starting to clear up. I still want it clearer though. I think i'm going to look for natural masks and start experimenting. I used to do aspirin masks and that worked for awhile. Before the aspirin mask, i did lemon and then there was the aloe vera, and before that was the egg mask. My mom is really into trying out new skin care things and so she got me into them as well. I kind of miss treating my skin well.

What is this delectable dessert you ask? It's called spaghetti ice cream. You are probably thinking it's disgusting...cold spaghetti. [read more here] It just imitates the spaghetti look. There are so spaghetti products in the ice cream itself. It's just vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and grated white chocolate. That is so cool! I really want to try something like this. I don't know how people come up with stuff like this. Creative juices are definitely working for the makers. Apparently, the ice cream is similar to Dip n Dots, but it's better tasting. I love ice cream. It's one of my many vices. I can eat it all day, non-stop.

For some reason, this topic is always brought up (while i'm self-reflecting or around friends). I'm constantly reminded about the different types of friends i have. Recently, i've come to face a lot more "fakes" than i've wanted to encounter. To one person or group of friends, they appear one way and to another group they appear totally different. In front of me they'd act childish, but while on the phone with their bf, they would act 10x more mature. What is that?? The little act gets annoying after awhile. And then there's the character of a girl. There is the type of girl that can talk crap about other girls, but when you start saying things about their friends or something about their personality...she starts to show her fangs. It's all about manipulation and how well you can string people along and still hold up your front. Girls are dangerous. I've met those types of girls in the last couple of weeks and it's really scary to see girls put their power to use. They know they have the upper hand and when their dark side comes out, it's like a double-take. On the outside, they appear to be the sweetest girls, but deep down it's like their harbor dark feelings towards unsuspecting victims. I say unsuspecting because sometimes you don't even know you are on their bad side until it's too late. I guess by talking through this, i'm trying to understand what girls are all about or at least trying to.

Girls are unpredictable and we're more unpredictable when it comes to love. I say that because tonight i watched the play Fiddler on the Roof. The father sacrificed so much for his daughter's. He wanted them to be happy and find love. It's all very sweet. But, tt's also really sad. It makes you think about the diaspora happening back then and present day. I kind of wanted to see the whole 20 years later sorta thing. I guess that's up to my own imagination. The theater i was sitting in was beautiful! The set was fantastic and the orchestra was really great. For awhile you really though that the music came off of a cd or something.

For dinner i had cereal, a banana, and half a bagel. When Fiddler was done, i was starving. I ended up eating a sandwich and microwaving some soup. That reminds me, this morning i volunteered at R.O.C.K. A place where disabled kids/adults ride horses as a form of therapy. They are not handicapped, they are handicapable! It was awful (not the kids, i mean the weather!). The weather was against us and the wind was blowing in our faces. My nose was dripping and i almost got pooped on. I was standing next to the horse towards the horse's rump and LeRoy (the horse) decided to take a crap. The poo came in pellets and barely missed me. It smelled really bad. Today was orientation and i learned how to drag people off horses in case of emergencies. I could barely life the person off the horse because the person was bigger than me and the horse was so tall. Then, i became the person who got hauled off, twice. The first time she picked me up and dumped me on the floor. The second time, another girl wrapped her arms too high (cutting into my boobage area) and proceeded to drag me off. I don't know how this is going to work. Me and horses aren't a good mix.
I've never been good with horses, but the only actual experience i've had with them was today. So i'm kind of indifferent right now. What i know i don't like are nasty cockroaches. In Malaysia, a girl woke up with an ear ache. She had no clue what it was until her family took a closer look into her ear. Turns out a nasty cockroach found its way into her ear. The family turned to the hospital for help and they're doing all they can for her. [read more here] That is crazy. I've always been afraid of eating spiders in my sleep, now i have to worry about cockroaches. Those little bugs have always scared me. During my soph year of hs, i had a teacher who took advantage of the fact that i was squeemish towards everything, especially cockroaches. He just liked my reactions and so he always found ways to torment me. One time we were watching a boring documentary and i had fallen asleep. He quietly walked towards me and placed a fake, rubber cockroach on my desk right near my face. When i woke up and saw that thing, i screamed and jump maybe 5ft away from my desk. It was truly disgusting. It looked so real! Sometimes he would randomly throw them at em during class because he thought of me as class entertainment. How nice.

Cute picture of the day.

Sun, come out to play!

The weather is alright today. It's 46 and really windy, but the sun is out so that makes everything better. My nose is dripping and i feel semi-awful. I woke up early and finished my hw. I hate cramming. I always tell myself not to do that, but i always happen to slip into my old bad habits.
I've been annoyed with blackheads lately. I can't find any product that takes care of the ugly suckers. I've nose stripped, masked, washed, foam, sucked and lots of other techniques. They always manage to come back. It's not really bad to the extent where there are ugly black patches on my face, but i notice them and they are really nasty. I've looked up different, natural ways to rid them and i came across honey. It seems really easy. All you do is warm up honey and then slather it on the troublesome places. You leave it there for about 10-15 min. I think i'm going to try this out this weekend. I don't know if it'll do anything, but honey isn't toxic or dangerous so putting it on your face shouldn't be so bad.

I've been looking through music and i've turned to youtube for inspiration. I really like listening to people singing live. It's even better when they know how to play instruments. I really like this singer/songwriter named Marie Digby. She's half Irish and half Japanese.
She's pretty and very cute!! I love her renditions. People like her make me want to have mix babies. Mixed children are always so pretty. I'm definitely over generalizing, but what a nice combination. I knew this girl who was like half black and half Japanese. I thought she was gorgeous. Her complexion was a natural dark tan and she was just so pretty.

I got my sunglasses in! I love them!
They are so glam. The shades make me feel so magical. I was so glad today was warmer and sunshiney enough to wear them out. I have a white pair and now i have a pink pair, i'm very ecstatic. I got them off ebay! Yay for ebay! I got my friend into buying a pair off of ebay too. It's so funny because you can see the reflection in my big lenses. Don't you like the big valentines day balloon in the back? Can you believe there's still air in that thing! I'm amazed that they're still up.

In the middle of writing this post, i got distracted and started painting my nails. I actually really like doing my nails. I used to be into doing nail art and was good at keeping up with the health of my nails. I started not caring this year. I first started out experimenting with french tips. It's fairly easy to accomplish. My friend works at a nail salon and i saw her do my nails once. The tools used are very everyday things. Now, i just like to keep them simple and short. Sometimes i'll have a splash of color, but most of the time it's just clean. There was a banquet today, so i chose red for my hands and white for my feet. I have a red, black and white dress, the colors compliment my overall look very nicely.

The APO banquet went by nicely. When we came back, we went to on on-campus party hosted by the Kappa Chi's. That wasn't great. I realized i don't like techno because i don't know how to dance to it. Raving is a true technique. My arms aren't synced. My left arm is a lot slower than my right arm. The sad part is that if you host a party, it would be nice for you to join in on the "fun." It's not polite to watch your guests try to make the best of it. The "real" party was outside...where everyone mingled and did their own thing. Afterwards we went to IHOP. All i got was coffee. Two cups of yummy coffee makes me really happy. The best part was that we didn't have to pay for it. Our server said that we didn't have a tab. By the time our adventure was over, it was 2. Everyone was beat and i was missing the bf. We went out separate ways and said good night. It was an eventful night. I think the best part was just recapping the nightly happenings and talking to the bf. Writing about him makes me cheese.

It's almost spring break!

Cute picture of the day.

So Fierce!

And the winner is...

Christian!! I'm so excited. I love him. His personality is major and his talent is raw. I was rooting for him the whole way. His collection was the epitome of "fierceness." It was dramatic, big, fluffy, and wow. Victoria Beckham fell in love with his collection. It was like he custom made it just for her. Amazingly, he's only 21!

That was the last piece of his collection. Fierce, I know. The color contrast was beautiful and there was movement in the dress. So high fashion. I skipped work today to watch the finale. I'm such a devoted fan. I predicted that the final 3 would be Rami, Christian, and Jillian way before the finale. I don't know why i'm saying this now, it's not like there is substantial credit on my behalf.

I did nothing today. It was all school. I was surprised because it passed by seamlessly. I had braided my hair up last night thinking that i wanted a curly, whimsical look for the next day. I didn't take into account the crazy volume i generally have to deal with when i do that look. I ended up doing a side ponytail and stuck a sunflower hair clip in my hair. I was cute! Yay for sunshine, flower days.

I went to target and Old Navy with my friend. It was fun. I bought this shirt/dress thing on sale. It's navy and i think you wear it with tights? Maybe when i wear it, i'll take a couple pics. At target, i bought red lipstick! Not dull red, but bright red!
Sorta like this red. I don't know who that asian girl is, but i like her simple makeup. The red lip is such a statement and it's totally glam. I've always wanted to do a red lip, but was never brave enough to try it. I'm also not pale enough either. I don't know how it will look. I know that my eye makeup is going to have to be light and fresh. I'm going to make it work! If it doesn't, then i'll just have to shop around for a friendlier shade of red. I just love the bright red lip though. I hope it works for me. I've started to look around ebay when i'm bored. That's definitely not good. For some reason, i have taken a liking towards shutter shades. Apparently, Kanye West made them "cool" when he wore them in his Stronger video. I just remember him wearing it a couple times, i couldn't remember where thought. I don't know how they work. I just think they are so neat-o. Will they actually shade you? Shouldn't they have a nob to turn the blinds so actually shade your eyes from the sun? But if you do that, how are you going to see? This is so complicated. Anyways, if i were to buy a pair, i think i'd want white ones. I'd be the "cool" kid on the block. I've been looking for a new pair of pink sunglasses for the longest time. So, i turned to ebay for help. I wanted a pair of pink, vintage sunglasses to be exact. I found these during my search yesterday.
I'm so excited. I know, they might look weird and cheap and dorky...but i love them. Pink is my color. Be pink positive, that is key to a happy life! The bf bought them and now, they are coming! If this is a success, i'm going to turn to ebay as my fab vintage source. It's so hard to finding anything vintage that is reasonably priced around here.

I have cow observing tomorrow followed by lunch with my professor. Afterwards, i'm probably just going to work. The not so exciting life of me. The bf introduced me to a lovely singer. Her voice is so refreshing and her style is very...Judy. I don't know if that makes any sense. Most of the things i listen to, English to foriegn, all have the same feel. Her music is beautiful and her lyrics are very touching. Her voice is very light and magical, she will definitely calm you and capture your heart.
Her voice is very charming and i like her acoustics. I don't know her background or ehtnicity, but i do like her very much. I'm keeping my eye on her. Priscilla is a very talented lady. Another artist you have to check out is Yael Naim. [wiki] I know, she has a weird name. That was my initial thought as well. Her face is kinda weird looking. But then again, music shouldn't be superficial and be based off of looks. We already did that and that's why we have the talentless Britney Spears.
Yael actually looks really cute here. I guess you just have to watch one of her vids. From angles, she reminds me of Regina Spektor. Check them out!

It's almost spring break!! I'm counting down the days. I didn't mean to make this post so picture dense, but i love pictures! I just realized that this post is mainly about things i like...things i think are fierce. Gotta love.

Cute picture of the day.
