New Sunglasses, YT vid, & Ollie's hair

I picked up sunglasses at a thrift store today! I love them.

Excuse the glare. For 3 dollars, it ain't bad. I'm sad you can't see the detail, though. They're clear with red lining on the outer corners. My sister also "gave" me a fab pink pair.
This time, excuse the expression. They kind of look the same but not really! It's all light pink and has a different shape to them. She got these in Nica...i think? I love oversized, vintage shade. They make my fat face look skinnier.

Ollie also got a haircut. I'm still warming up to her new do. The only thing is that she looks more like a boy. Everyone kept calling her "he." It's probably due to the androgynous name. Golly. So i leave you with pics of her. In the pics i'm wearing my fave sunglasses.

LOOK how short her hair is now!

OK. I tried to upload it, but it's taking too long because i haven't resized the pics. So instead, you can learn 5 facts about me.

More Gripes? More Toilets?

I was really bored in class and started to draw on myself. I thought it was so amusing that i started chuckling to myself. It's quite ridiculous. I never draw on myself. When i was little, my dad always said if you draw on yourself you'll turn into one of those gangsters that sport tattoos. He takes it a step further and says, "you want a tattoo right? You ant to grow up to be a low-life gangster." I always thought it was silly, but i never drew on myself after that. He scared me too much. Today, i feel a lot better. All i have left is a test on Friday and then i'll be ok. Spring break is so close i can almost taste it. I just need a refresher. I'm looking at April calender and it looks super busy. Oh, dear.

Sometimes, people frustrate me. Remember that little cartoon i put up awhile that was in Korean? Well it depicts two types of acorns. The first is the complainer stuck in a situation. Instead of trying to get yourself out of the situation, you kind of just sit there and gripe about the unfairness that is life. The second is the do-er, trying to get yourself out of a bad spot. Instead of sitting there useless, you do all you can to get yourself out or make the situation better. So, i'm taking on that philosophy. If something is wrong, do something about instead of complain about the wrongness of the situation. Its not going to get any better if you vent. Well, it might make you feel better but the situation remains. It might also be the thinking at fault. If you are so focused on wanting a certain outcome, you totally overlook how to achieve it. For instance, say you want to throw a party, a great kick-butt, shiznit party. Instead of doing stuff to make the party great, you sit on your butt and just expect it to happen. How in the world is that going to work? You have to work from the bottom up. There's the food, music, decorations, publicity that all goes into making a part great. You can't just jump from one thing to another and expect greatness. It doesn't work that way; life doesn't work that way. About the picture, i know it's a creepy looking guy, but i thought it was semi-appropriate. I don't know how his eye is bulging out like that. It looks freaky. I'm going to try to make that face.

Since i'm hungry, i'm thinking about all the really good things i can whip up really fast. The best thing is an easy sandwich. I like my sandwich to have mustard, turkey meat, and loads of vegetables like spinach, tomatoes (even though it's technically a fruit), mushrooms, pickles, jalapeños, and cucumbers. If there's guacamole, throw that into the mix. It's super yummy. For some reason, i don't like putting cheese into my sandwich. Along with that, i like to put salad dressing. Thousand Island dressing is really good with a nicely made sandwich and it's healthy. If you have ramen, it's even better and easier since you just pop everything into the microwave. What i like to do is cook some eggs first and have that at the bottom of my ramen. Make sure that its thoroughly cooked before you pour the ramen on top. After that, you can put extra ingredients like mystery meat (cha), shrimp, and your vegetables like mushroom and spinach. It's super simple and super easy. Sometimes i eat that as a midnight snack. Right now, i really miss making spaghetti. I'm pretty good at it and the bf can testify! It's the only thing i can properly make. Too bad i don't know how to make the sauce from scratch. I think i might want to investigate the how-to's of going about that. That might be my cooking attempt over the break. Goodness, i'm so hungry.

Wow, i accidentally threw up a little in my mouth. When i swallowed it, i made this really nasty face thinking that it was really gross. I hate it when those accidental things happen. There were people passing out sunglasses around campus. They are quite retro. Thank you Barcus!

Why is the quality so bad? It's my webcam. I was too lazy to adjust anything so it turned out horrible. But those are the glasses they passed out. If there's anything FREE, i'm there. They are orange, if i had a choice i would've gotten the hot pink ones. Maybe the bf likes? My desk is really dirty and i have random things spewing everywhere. It's a sad, sad sight.

You know what else is sad? A woman stuck in a toilet...for not 2 sec, not 2 min, but 2 years. I randomly chose this picture to represent the article i'm talking about. In Wichita, Kansas a woman got stuck in her boyfriend's toilet seat for so long that her body began to grow around it. She initially refused help because she was "embarrassed." After convincing, the toilet seat was pried off the toilet and she was sent to the hospital (toilet seat still attached to her rump). Authorities have yet to determine the fate of the woman's bf who promised to feed her everyday during the toilet seat fiasco. He asked her is she needed help everyday and her response would always be, "Maybe tomorrow." There is no mention as to why it took the boyfriend 2 years to make the phone call. [read more here] How the heck does someone get stuck in the toilet? And why did it take 2 years for someone to speak up? Even though the experience was probably personally mortifying, it wouldn't have to be publicly mortifying if you asked for help right then and there. Shame on the boyfriend for not helping his girlfriend out. It's so insane how people think nowadays. If i ever get stuck in an embarrassing situation, i expect ya'll (friends, family, bf) to think on my behalf and act upon the better judgment. Otherwise i'd be in the news categorized under "Crazy Woman."

Another crazy thing i read today should be categorized as bizarre. I think the picture explains everything.
How crazy can inventors get? Here's your chance to get your very own Bitchcruiser. These are available for bid on ebay. You've got until March 16th to decide. If you are going bid on this, make sure to tap into your life savings fund because it's starting at $2,303.81. [source] I had a good laugh at this for awhile when i first came upon this. I've got a knack for finding weird articles. Anyways, this is majorly tacky. It's just screaming, "i haven't had sex in too long, so this is the outcome." I can't believe anyone would ride this in public, much less by it. You are either really perverted, a sex addict, or something sex-deprived to be interested in this. If you know anyone buying this, do tell.

Cute picture of the day.

This is my kind of car.

Sun, come out to play!

The weather is alright today. It's 46 and really windy, but the sun is out so that makes everything better. My nose is dripping and i feel semi-awful. I woke up early and finished my hw. I hate cramming. I always tell myself not to do that, but i always happen to slip into my old bad habits.
I've been annoyed with blackheads lately. I can't find any product that takes care of the ugly suckers. I've nose stripped, masked, washed, foam, sucked and lots of other techniques. They always manage to come back. It's not really bad to the extent where there are ugly black patches on my face, but i notice them and they are really nasty. I've looked up different, natural ways to rid them and i came across honey. It seems really easy. All you do is warm up honey and then slather it on the troublesome places. You leave it there for about 10-15 min. I think i'm going to try this out this weekend. I don't know if it'll do anything, but honey isn't toxic or dangerous so putting it on your face shouldn't be so bad.

I've been looking through music and i've turned to youtube for inspiration. I really like listening to people singing live. It's even better when they know how to play instruments. I really like this singer/songwriter named Marie Digby. She's half Irish and half Japanese.
She's pretty and very cute!! I love her renditions. People like her make me want to have mix babies. Mixed children are always so pretty. I'm definitely over generalizing, but what a nice combination. I knew this girl who was like half black and half Japanese. I thought she was gorgeous. Her complexion was a natural dark tan and she was just so pretty.

I got my sunglasses in! I love them!
They are so glam. The shades make me feel so magical. I was so glad today was warmer and sunshiney enough to wear them out. I have a white pair and now i have a pink pair, i'm very ecstatic. I got them off ebay! Yay for ebay! I got my friend into buying a pair off of ebay too. It's so funny because you can see the reflection in my big lenses. Don't you like the big valentines day balloon in the back? Can you believe there's still air in that thing! I'm amazed that they're still up.

In the middle of writing this post, i got distracted and started painting my nails. I actually really like doing my nails. I used to be into doing nail art and was good at keeping up with the health of my nails. I started not caring this year. I first started out experimenting with french tips. It's fairly easy to accomplish. My friend works at a nail salon and i saw her do my nails once. The tools used are very everyday things. Now, i just like to keep them simple and short. Sometimes i'll have a splash of color, but most of the time it's just clean. There was a banquet today, so i chose red for my hands and white for my feet. I have a red, black and white dress, the colors compliment my overall look very nicely.

The APO banquet went by nicely. When we came back, we went to on on-campus party hosted by the Kappa Chi's. That wasn't great. I realized i don't like techno because i don't know how to dance to it. Raving is a true technique. My arms aren't synced. My left arm is a lot slower than my right arm. The sad part is that if you host a party, it would be nice for you to join in on the "fun." It's not polite to watch your guests try to make the best of it. The "real" party was outside...where everyone mingled and did their own thing. Afterwards we went to IHOP. All i got was coffee. Two cups of yummy coffee makes me really happy. The best part was that we didn't have to pay for it. Our server said that we didn't have a tab. By the time our adventure was over, it was 2. Everyone was beat and i was missing the bf. We went out separate ways and said good night. It was an eventful night. I think the best part was just recapping the nightly happenings and talking to the bf. Writing about him makes me cheese.

It's almost spring break!

Cute picture of the day.

So Fierce!

And the winner is...

Christian!! I'm so excited. I love him. His personality is major and his talent is raw. I was rooting for him the whole way. His collection was the epitome of "fierceness." It was dramatic, big, fluffy, and wow. Victoria Beckham fell in love with his collection. It was like he custom made it just for her. Amazingly, he's only 21!

That was the last piece of his collection. Fierce, I know. The color contrast was beautiful and there was movement in the dress. So high fashion. I skipped work today to watch the finale. I'm such a devoted fan. I predicted that the final 3 would be Rami, Christian, and Jillian way before the finale. I don't know why i'm saying this now, it's not like there is substantial credit on my behalf.

I did nothing today. It was all school. I was surprised because it passed by seamlessly. I had braided my hair up last night thinking that i wanted a curly, whimsical look for the next day. I didn't take into account the crazy volume i generally have to deal with when i do that look. I ended up doing a side ponytail and stuck a sunflower hair clip in my hair. I was cute! Yay for sunshine, flower days.

I went to target and Old Navy with my friend. It was fun. I bought this shirt/dress thing on sale. It's navy and i think you wear it with tights? Maybe when i wear it, i'll take a couple pics. At target, i bought red lipstick! Not dull red, but bright red!
Sorta like this red. I don't know who that asian girl is, but i like her simple makeup. The red lip is such a statement and it's totally glam. I've always wanted to do a red lip, but was never brave enough to try it. I'm also not pale enough either. I don't know how it will look. I know that my eye makeup is going to have to be light and fresh. I'm going to make it work! If it doesn't, then i'll just have to shop around for a friendlier shade of red. I just love the bright red lip though. I hope it works for me. I've started to look around ebay when i'm bored. That's definitely not good. For some reason, i have taken a liking towards shutter shades. Apparently, Kanye West made them "cool" when he wore them in his Stronger video. I just remember him wearing it a couple times, i couldn't remember where thought. I don't know how they work. I just think they are so neat-o. Will they actually shade you? Shouldn't they have a nob to turn the blinds so actually shade your eyes from the sun? But if you do that, how are you going to see? This is so complicated. Anyways, if i were to buy a pair, i think i'd want white ones. I'd be the "cool" kid on the block. I've been looking for a new pair of pink sunglasses for the longest time. So, i turned to ebay for help. I wanted a pair of pink, vintage sunglasses to be exact. I found these during my search yesterday.
I'm so excited. I know, they might look weird and cheap and dorky...but i love them. Pink is my color. Be pink positive, that is key to a happy life! The bf bought them and now, they are coming! If this is a success, i'm going to turn to ebay as my fab vintage source. It's so hard to finding anything vintage that is reasonably priced around here.

I have cow observing tomorrow followed by lunch with my professor. Afterwards, i'm probably just going to work. The not so exciting life of me. The bf introduced me to a lovely singer. Her voice is so refreshing and her style is very...Judy. I don't know if that makes any sense. Most of the things i listen to, English to foriegn, all have the same feel. Her music is beautiful and her lyrics are very touching. Her voice is very light and magical, she will definitely calm you and capture your heart.
Her voice is very charming and i like her acoustics. I don't know her background or ehtnicity, but i do like her very much. I'm keeping my eye on her. Priscilla is a very talented lady. Another artist you have to check out is Yael Naim. [wiki] I know, she has a weird name. That was my initial thought as well. Her face is kinda weird looking. But then again, music shouldn't be superficial and be based off of looks. We already did that and that's why we have the talentless Britney Spears.
Yael actually looks really cute here. I guess you just have to watch one of her vids. From angles, she reminds me of Regina Spektor. Check them out!

It's almost spring break!! I'm counting down the days. I didn't mean to make this post so picture dense, but i love pictures! I just realized that this post is mainly about things i like...things i think are fierce. Gotta love.

Cute picture of the day.
