Homes
Sunday is time of rest. I woke up at 7.30 a.m to go to church. I'm so used to going to church at 5.00 p.m, so it was hard for me to get my lazy butt out of bed. I quickly changed and went to church. I came home and got dressed for my parent's function.
Like the chessiness factor in this picture? I call this my semi-fake smile. I hated the ao dai my mom made me wear. It belongs to her! The ao dai is tailored to fit her. The problem is ...she has boobs and i don't. The solution? She told me to wear a big bra to boost up my chest. Like that will help any. She's a C cup. Anyways, it was huge and i felt ugly in it. I went over to my grandparents house to get a few things and everyone was shocked at what i was wearing. "oh, it's so big! Oh, it makes you look old!" Yes, everything i wanted to hear. So i went home and changed into the original green ao dai i was wearing before my mom told me to wear hers. The function happened to be in Dallas which is an hour away from my house. The drive was long. Like most asian functions, it didn't start till an hour later? How dependable...Asian Time. We got there and i found out that my parents forgot all about the food they made. They had left it in the oven and asked me to drive an hour back to get it. I was compliant and asked for the keys. My older sister yelled at me, saying that it was a stupid idea. It wouldn't have been so bad if she was tactful, but she never is (or rarely). We left at 4. It was a snore fest. I always say i will never go to these things again, but what happens? I get dragged anyways. I need to stand firm on my decisions next time.
I drove home. It was long. My butt hurt and there was traffic. People who just randomly slow down to watch the gutter/curb happenings are true idiots. WHO CARES! It has nothing to do with you, so stop being nosy. If we all minded our own business life be much easier. Good thing i don't have road rage. :] I'm home now. It's weird how you come to think of school as your home. I don't know when i started calling it that, but it's true. I miss everything about my room at SU. It has a lot of me infused into it. I even like my bed more than the one at home. I think that also has something to do with the fact that my babies (Terry and Benji) are here.
I realized that i don't like people who aim people for no reason. STUPID. Why msg someone when you have nothing to talk about. I mean, seriously. It makes it worse when you don't even know the person. If you don't know me, don't msg me when you're bored expecting me to thoughtfully carry on a conversation with you. Frankly, i don't care too much about you. If you can't think of anything to talk about, then why msg me in the first place? Ask yourself that the next time you aim someone. Also, don't aim someone just to ask a favor. That is rude, especially if you don't even talk to that person (outside of asking them for help). I have a few people who only aim me for a favor. They mock conversation, but i know better because two minutes later, they say, "Can you help me?" He asked me to write a paper for him so that he can give it to this girl he was trying to impress. DUMB-BUTT! I laughed and told him off. IDIOTS BE AWARE! If you do that to me...i will be very mean.
Now you can just hand a person a cup with your selections without saying a word. [read more here]There are options on the cup that you can choose by just twisting the ring. It makes life easier. Cool? These inventions make me wonder if it's for the better. Sometimes, it's nice to have a little human interaction. Asking for a drink shouldn't be that hard. But then again, i'm not one of those busy-bees who value time to the point of giving up an opportunity to converse. I'll probably get to that point in no time though.
