Waves of Relief
This is what you do when you need support and a boost in morale! You call someone up and ask for them to wish you luck :] I think i did ok on my tests. The overflowing relief is indescribable. From 9-11, i had two tests on two very different subjects. I also turned in my paper, so i can mark that off of my to-do list. I think i over studied, but i'm glad i did because i felt semi-confident going into the test. I hope my scores reflect the effort and time i spent studying. *crosses fingers* Are you crossing yours? For completing a very hard day, I'm going to make time to watch Across the Universe! Now, all i have left is a paper due on Wednesday. I'll try to get that started tonight. I need to stop procrastinating and become more productive with my time. The bangs in that picture makes me want to cut my hair. Thats an older picture, i think last semester. I don't think i changed much. I never do anything drastic with my hair except the occasional bad bang job, courtesy of myself. Maybe over the summer i'll have the courage to cut it shorter. I used to envy cute little bobs. I think i'll miss my long hair too much. Sigh, predicaments.
When i'm blogging, i usually listen to music. Its so calming and relaxing. I realized that my music is very ballad-y/love songy. Don't get me wrong, my playlist is very eclectic and i love all kinds of music. Its just that i prefer the slower songs. Its sort of like watching movies. I can watch all kinds, but i definitely prefer chick-flicks. So sweet and romantic, how can you resist?
Lately i've been seeing a lot of mushroom tops. Since the weather is slightly warm/breezy, people are trying to bring out their spring wear. Its not a lovely sight. Mushroom tops are people who wear too tight pants that push their fat up so that their fat is laying on top of their jeans. The overlaying fat, creates the mushroom top look.
This picture is for all you visual learners. The mushroom top is also considered a muffin. I just like how :mushroom top" sounds. Anyways, that is not!!! a picture of me. I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of jeans that severely flatten my butt and do nothing for my figure. Anyways, I've been seeing a lot of those lately. On top of having a mushroom top, the girls go one step above and throw in the whole butt crack reveal. Seriously girls, who wants to see your butt crack?! I can see why people fall victim to this image tho. The lower the waist and tighter the jeans, the more prone you are to become a muffin. This is hard to avoid because jeans now a days are low rise and tight. What is the solution? When you shop, disregard all size numbers. It doesn't matter if you are a size 0 or 24, make it work! The better you dress your body, the better you will be at disguising your true size. Who cares if you are actually a size 8, don't wear a size 5 to make yourself feel better. You are openly admitting that you don't love your body enough by wearing smaller sizes, think of it as self-torture. Wearing clothes that flatter your figure might give off the appearance of shrinking a couple of sizes. I thought my friend was a size 5, until she told me she was actually a size 8. Amazing what flattering clothes will do.
I think i'm going to start looking for homemade facial remedies. Stress is taking a toll on my face. I don't like wearing tons of make-up. In the morning, i slap on concealer (panda eyes), tightline, mascara, and blush. Thats about it. So, i want my skin as clear as possible since i already wear minimal makeup. This is hard because i think my skin has this vendetta against me. One day my skin will be beautiful, and the next day it'll look like a tornado came by and landed on my face. So, i'm going to start doing a little research and update about what i've come up with. Hopefully, i'll have good results.
