A Whole Lot of Lovin'

Eventful. That's the best word to describe today. I went over to the bf's house to have lunch. It was nice because we went to this place called Taste of Asia. We ordered two dishes: noodles and curry. It's so yummy and the portions were generous. I advise ya'll to eat there. I was craving thai in particular and that was why we got the curry and soba. Afterwards, we went to best buy to get little sister a present for her 17th birthday! Her actual birthday isn't until Wednesday, but they celebrated it today so that i can join in the festivities! How darling. The bf and i bought her a joint gift because he was uncreative. We got her headphones! She's been wanting a good pair for a really long time and this was the perfect time to get her some. I'm glad she liked what we got her. I tried to convince the bf to buy her burt's bees products, but he didn't think it was a grand idea. I would've liked it!

Then, we hiked our booties down to Asian Olympics at UTA to watch the football games. Asian people are friendly! I was very surprised when someone knew/recognized SU. No ones knows about this school. It's so unheard of! It was nice to receive some recognition, at least for a sec. The football sucked. The guys thought they were hot fuzz, but they were wanna be gangsters. I shouldn't be talking crap since i can't play at all. tee hee. We stayed there until almost 4 before we bid farewell. We both went home to get ready for little sister's mini-bash. I planned on a water balloon fight and expected them to have the balloons ready before i got home. I should have known better. When i got there, i had to motivate people into action. When the bf arrived, we almost filled 2 buckets. After that, we went to the park for the epic fight. It didn't last long, but it was fun. I haven't watered people since last summer. Afterwards, we decided to play freeze tag. Running is so hard! It brings back gross memories of my childhood years, when i liked to run. That was fun and dandy, until we got tired. We only played for 30 min before we all called it quits. I'm really out of shape. One of my goals after coming back from break is to start working out again. Let's bet on how long that will last or when it will start.

By the time we got home, we were ready for food. My mom made ga ri (chicken curry). I felt kind of bad for the non-viets, but they ate it and i think they enjoyed it. It was past 8, so the bf barely ate. I'm so proud of him! I'm sort of keeping up with the whole thing. Anyways, we had asian cake and started to play telephone pictionary. This game is so fun. The more people you have, the better it is. By the time we were done with that, it was 20 min till 10 and the kids were about to leave. So we decided to play a quick game of guesstures - girls against boys! Of course the girls won because of their elite guesstures skills. Everyone was fairly tired from the exciting day, so they started to head home. At around 11, the bf was looking for his car keys. He started getting me worried because he couldn't find them anywhere.

Oh crap! So we decided to head out to the park - in the dark!! - with a flashlight to look for his keys. There were 3 distinct locations to be searched: field (freeze tag), play ground (rest), gazebo (water balloon fight). Now, this was a very hard task for me to accomplish because i'm terrified of the dark. My imagination runs wild and i'm always thinking of the worst. While i was driving, i thought of different situations and how i would eventually end up dead. That is such a darned scary thought. But i was super duper brave and walked around the field and playground with the bf looking for his keys. When that didn't work, we started for the gazebo. Oh goodness, it was so dark and scary. Instead of going with him, i stayed in the car. That is equally scary. I started thinking about the crazy ax murderers in the world and how they would all come, break my glass window and drag me out to kill me. TV does that to a person! Then, i saw the bf running back to the car. By golly, the bf found his keys and i was just leaping for joy. He said that his keys were wedged between the bench and he was about to give up until he saw a flashy yellow thing. I'm just so glad things worked out tonight. It was such an adventure. I felt like i was in one of those choose your own adventure books. I'm glad we ended up ok. What a way to end my Spring Break. It was a positively perfect week and i wouldn't have done any of it differently.

Tomorrow is Easter. Celebrate with family, friends, and everyone you love. I'll be heading back to Georgetown. I can't wait for my next break.

Cute picture of the day.
