YT Vid, Monkey Majik, & Zohan

I was youtubing yesterday for brilliant music and someone showed me this:

Good huh! Introducing Monkey Majik. I liked them so much that i downloaded their album this morning. It's a very good blend of east and west. I love the oriental sounds. It meshes so well together. I woke up extra early, around 9, to shower and go out with the bf. We went to Fry's to spend some money on electronics! I bought a new external hdd-250 gig for only $93. It's a Free Agent and is so portable. It's pure love! I'm so excited about it. My old 80 gig is almost filled and is so bulky that i loathe carrying it around. I also bought a cover for my laptop for only $2 after the $10 rebate! It's really soft, nothing special about it though. I like the price. I used up all of my gift certificate, so i'm happy about that. My mom doesn't want me to have it lying around because she's afraid that i'll forget about the money.

We ate at the Sweet Tomato. Which is funny because there is a salmonella threat in the states right now. As a precautionary, a lot of restaurants/sellers are voluntarily pulling tomatoes of the shelves. Just to be careful, stay away from the red darlings. Anyways, the restaurant is similar to Souper Salad! It's a cafeteria set up, salad bar and main bar. It was very quaint. As always, the bf was bullying me and this older lady turned and playfully threatened him, "be nice to her or i'll have to (does pounding motion)." LOL! It was so cute. She was so sweet. There were a lot of old people there, all white haired beauties. It's nice to see elderly people interact with people. The whole thing is very charming. I remember telling my friends that i think "old-love" is beautiful and that i want that. My friends laughed and told me that it would be nice to be grumpy, kiss teethless, and hate young children. It's not like that to me. When you age with grace, everything looks more...welcoming, for lack of better words. I remembered walking in the park and seeing this beautiful elderly couple hold hands, enjoying a stroll through the park. They happen to take a break and sit on a bench where they lightly kiss each other on the lips. It's all very sweet. I want that picture, not the nasty one my friend's painted. It's all very possible. Talking about this makes me smile to myself because the image is just so darling. When i'm older, i want to have that. I want happiness.

Don't Mess With the Zohan. I thought this was a good movie. I didn't really expect anything from this movie going in. I just knew it was a comedy. Personally, i love adam sandler. I think his slapstick is a lot more bearable than jim carrey. This movie is a stupid movie that requires minimal brain energy. What more do you want on a hot summer day? It's a lot of stupid comedy. If you don't like stupid comedy, than don't watch this. This sort of reminds me of easy-going beerfest, except for this movie you have to exhange the boobage shots for thrust action. I laughed a lot because the movie was so ridiculous. It's not made to make sense. You have to loosen up big time to watch this movie. Just relax and let zohan take over your world, temporarily. Adam Sandler movies are always either a great hit (Big Daddy) or terrible miss (Little Nicky). Little Nickey wasn't terrible, it was just weird. I only watched it once, i can ONLY watch it once. I think with this one, i can watch it over. It's just so darned silly. The ending was a little weird, but all in all, it was pleasant. I give this a 4.5/5.

I think i like the name Doris, like Doris Day. I'm still shopping around for names, but Doris seems appropriate. I see my pepper white cooper as a classic beauty that deserves a classic name. For example, when i think of classic beauty the image of Audrey Hepburn comes to mind. I happen to love Doris Day and i think it's a fitting name for the car. Is it weird that i name my cars? I have a lot of weird quirks about me. I name my teddy bears; i have two right now names benjy and terry. For some reason it makes me feel less alone. I hate the emo days where all you want to do is curl up in a ball somewhere in a corner and waste away. It doesn't happen often, but it happens enough to make me cringe at remembering emo days. It's like a POW, in your face feel. So how is my day to end? Why, watching t.v of course. My favorite summer tv show is back! So You Think You Can Dance (STD for short) packs quite a punch. I already have favorites, but i'm going to wait till i see a couple of more dances before i announce my FTW dancers. I caught up on some bravo shows that i've been missing since i've been at home. It's another dance show called, step it up & dance. It was down to the final 4, including two of my picks: Cody and Mochi (a cutey asian girl!!). In the end, Cody took home the prize. It's alright. I liked both so i'm not bitter at the world. It was really hard catching up because the show isn't that known, so there were no full episodes streamed. I was only able to read up on blogs and catch a few glimpses of whatever was uploaded.

I leave you with this.

I directed this!!!
