Confirmation and Twilight News!
I don't know what's up with today, but it was busy. I woke up to a phone call from my dad telling me to gather the siblings and take them out to first chinese BBQ. I didn't see my little sister around so i assumed she was with the parents. She was actually at a church meeting for her confirmation class. I was kind of irritated because she didn't even tell anyone. Oh golly. At least this gave me a chance to shave my legs halfheartedly. Parents are so bothersome. I'm not sure if i like mine 100%. This is because my mom nagged about my what i was wearing. She started treating me like i was 10. What the heck. I was wearing one of my fave dresses and she said it was inappropriate for a person sponsoring the confirmee. I beg to greatly differ. She kept at it for a long time and i was so upset, i accidentally said, "shut up." I can't believe i let it slip. Actually, i'm not surprised because i was definitely a potty-mouth pirate in my head. I was cursing left and right because everything was going wrong. 2 min before we left, i quickly changed into my polka dotted dress. I think the parents liked it better. They said my previous dress made me look pregnant. What the heck? It's the style and it's comfy. I'm all for that. I don't know what's with them. They've been on my back about everything.
I was starving by the time the confirmation was over. It lasted 2 hours! can you believe that? Part of the reason why i was hungry was because i had a small lunch. After lunch, we went to fry's and i returned the toshiba i bought for another HP. I think this is final. No more turning back.I'm actually satisfied with this so far. It might be a tad slow, but everything is slow nowadays. All in all, it's a good notebook and i think it's worth me keeping. I also got my money back, so i'm ecstatic! I have about $100 fry's store credit that i have to use up though. Gosh darned, i don't know what to buy. Oh, the countless possibilities. I might want to buy a more portable external hdd. That would make mobility a lot easier for me. I love my 80 gig, but it's so big that i loathe carrying it around with me. For dinner, we ate at my grandparents. It was so yummy i had 4 bowls! My small stomach is like a trash can. Yumm. After dinner, we took out the nail utensils and started doing our nails.
I don't know if you can see it that well, but i have gold nail polish with white flowers! It's so cute! And yes, i know i'm a dork. I wear that thing around the house or whenever i'm bored because it's fun! I'm wearing it now! On top of that, i'm wearing my chuck-e-cheese shirt. You might be wondering if it's heavy. It's actually not that bad. It's made of cotton, so it rests nicely on your head. The problem is if you have a slightly big head (like me) it might be hard to snap. You don't want to snap it anyways because your head will overheat. Back to the story, while my aunt was painting the flowers on my nails she started talking about work. Apparently, the owner has a dam hoi to go to. Of course, i knew that, but i didn't say anything. Feigning indifference is one of the easiest things to do i'd say. You kind of just pretend you aren't interested and you'll be okies dokies.
Some more news to celebrate about. Introducing the cover of Breaking Dawn. I'm super excited. My little sister told me about it and we looked it up. I'm kind of unsure about this cover. I haven't read it yet, but i'm itching to. I remembered when i was watching the previews to Indiana Jones, the twilight trailer came up! I was so excited. I made a lot of noise and started jumping in my seat. My friends looked over at me, gave me a confused expression and laughed. It looked so cool. I can't wait for it to come out! My older sister just told me she's going to austin to visit friends. Why doesn't she tell anyone else? I wish i was more in the loop with her happenings. Since the siblings are out of school for the summer, they want to go to a water park that just opened around the neighborhood. I'm all for it. I love water!
How long can you live in a closet undetected? I assume that if you were Harry Potter, you'd be ok. But then again, he wasn't in hiding. In Tokyo, a Japanese woman was caught living in a man's closet undetected for about a year. A few months before she was discovered, the owner got suspicious of missing food. So he installed cameras into his home that forwarded images to his phone. He phoned the police, but they reported back that everything was locked an closed. When the popos searched inside, they found a homeless woman curled in a shelf closet. The woman told police she had no place to live and first sneaked into the man's house about a year ago when he left it unlocked. She had moved a mattress into the small closet space and even took showers, Itakura said, calling the woman "neat and clean." [source] Can you believe that happened? She seems smart, it's a shame to see her in such circumstances.
