Youtube
I don't know how i found this neat little youtube vid. She's an actress, singer, dancer, overall performer. This is one of her amazing talents. You get a sample of 21 different accents in 2 1/2 min. I was kind of weirded at first. I didn't know what she was doing until i read a little but about her. It's really interesting. I think she has a great smile. There's one vid of her in dashing red lipstick. It's so complimentary to her pale skin. I'm in awe! I tried doing this, but i failed miserably. Oh well. Since i don't have much to do today, i'm catching up on my Dancing with the Stars! I'm watching my favorite couples, making sure that they at the top. Yay for Kristi!! She's so cute. I think the best part about this show is the live music. I really like the band! The voices are great and it's so fun to hear the fresh renditions they deliver. It shows that classic dancing is not just for the old generation, but it's definitely a modern thing. In week 5, i like how Kristi's dance partner described the Rumba. "It's a horizontal expression of a vertical desire." LOVE love love how that's described. In week 6, the couple did a jive!! It was so fun and cute that i have to show it here in hopes that people will watch it.
The outfits are adorable and their energy was contagious. Wasn't that fun? I was bopping along to the whole thing. I have no idea why i'm so obsessed with this show. I think it's because i don't have any dancing skills, so i live vicariously through them. I also like the show, So You Think You Can Dance? It's so neat to watch people dance because they love dancing. It's the same for any talent. I love to watch people sing because they absolutely love the craft. It's a shame when they can't sing though because then they're just delusional.
My friend is asking me about makeup. I really like to play around with colors more so on other people than on myself. I think it's because i just like the overall fresh face look. That and because i'm uber lazy. I was browsing google for ideas and came across this site. There was a featured article titled, "Myspace's Hot Asian Girls." Naturally, i had to see what this was all about. The only problem i have with this article is the font. What the heck?! I was literally 5 inches away from the screen.
Since i was so up close and personal with my monitor, i now have a headache. So this post was basically how pictures of asian girls on myspace is deceiving. The picture might lead you to think that they are hot-stuff, but when you click on their profile you become mighty disappointed because all you see is a plain jane. [read more here] So this person lists 6 observations to help people avoid the trap. He uses asian girls as an example because : The reason this blog title is"Hot" Asian Girls on Myspace, and not specifically pointing at girls of other ethnicities, is because from my experience, most White, Black, or Hispanic girls don't do that. Interesting. Maybe this guy just needs a life. The only place he can get close enough to any type of girl is probably on myspace. Despite this, i think his observations are pretty accurate. It's kind of funny in away but sad. Are asians really that insecure about themselves? My myspace picture commits all of those crimes: obscure angle, sunglasses, the hair. Oh, well. That at least assures me that creeps won't come knockin.
I hope everyone remembered that today is earth day! Happy green living!
