New York: Day Two
Someone told me that you have to sacrifice fashion for warmth in New York. My thoughts? HELL NAW. So i packed a lot of clothes and layered! It's the second day and i think i've got the layering thing down. I feel all warm and cozy inside. The only problem is that my hands feel like they are going to fall off and my face seems to feel like its tearing. The worse thing about NY is the wind. Goodness me.The wind blows at my face and i have no idea how to shelter myself from it. Layer my face?
I walked to Rockefeller Center and all around downtown today. It was really beautiful. At the ice rink...a man proposed to his lady! It was magical. I loved it. The first thing that popped in my mind was, "Gosh darn, I hope my boy would do something romantic like that." Before i even think of getting engaged, i should slow down and find a boy first. lol! Anyways, it was fun..for awhile. We left the house at around 10 and stayed out until 10. It was so cold that we ended up ducking into barnes and nobles and starbucks. We camped there until we were ready to brace the cold again.
The most eventful thing that happened was Avenue Q. It was amazing. Imagine a sesame street meets rent hybrid. There were muppets up the wazoo. It was ... AMAZING..ZING! I saw muppet sex and it was intense. I was really shocked for a good minute because it wasn't something i expected. I saw muppet boobs! My goodness. This broadway performance is about finding your sense of self and purpose after college. How appropriate and kind of depressing. It's definetly a shock of reality that i didn't want to look at. I'm absolutely in love with the main actor. He played SO many differect characters and varied his voice in such a way that made me SWOON. Or maybe it was his muscular build? I forget. hehehe
My OS is so nosy. When i'm around her, i have to be judy censored v. 2.0. It's like walking on fire. How exhausting.
Tomorrow...i'm finally meeting up with a long time friend! It's another busy day. I'm meeting her at Penn Station! Yay. I'm really excited. The only thing is that i have to wake up at 9. WAH! That's so early. I think i'm touring china town...and..other stuffies? I'll update laters.
