Mosquitos and Music

I woke up at 6 to drive my little brother to school. So when i came home, i naturally crashed. My parents are coming home today, so she called me to warn me that guests are coming over. That REALLY means, "clean the house or you will get a huge nagging when i get home." That call came about 9, so i decided to sleep an hour more before i started crackin'. Cleaning the house was relatively easy because the house wasn't messy to begin with. I'm sure they won't be happy to see all my crap piled near the door, but can they really blame me? Packing all by myself is hard. There's no one to help me carry down all the heavy boxes and such. I sound like a weakling. Next thing i'll be complaining about not being able to open a jar of pesto. Wait for that day to come guys. I realized that i need to help out my bones, so i'm startin' to regularly eat calcium chews. This kind is a yummy sugar-free, chocolate flavor. It's like eating candy! I remember when i was little (not too long ago) my parents opted for buying gummy bear vitamins after the failure of vitamin lollipops. The gummy bears were a huge success and my siblings and i ate them so much that we soon got tired of them and moved on to the next "big" thing.

I'm showered and i feel so good. For some reason, this mosquito keeps biting me. Right after i killed it, i found out that it bit me5 times. I think i'm slightly allergic to mosquitos because i swell up really bad and this is no exception. The last time i went to Vietnam, i became THE target. At one point, i had like 15 bites on each leg. It was awful.

When do you know you are a grown up? My close friend asked me in the middle of a mid-crisis she was having. I was so flattered when she said, "i really think you're one of the most grown up people i've met...my age at least." I rebutted by recounting my past, behavior, personality and all that jazz, but she still stood her ground. I'm still thinking this over.

If you are done listening to the first vid, listen to this calming number.

I love the laidback, fluidity of the jazzy blues. It relaxes me. I used to be so high energy 24/7, especially in middle shool. The one thing that would calm me would be music. So i'm very particular in what kind of music i listen to and when i listen to it. I would say, 85% of my music collection is very much like the music i've featured on this blog. It's very...me. It's kind of neat when you listen to a song and someone is able to distinctly say, "that's a judy song."
